Dr. Rabin is smart, thorough and compassionate and the best doctor I've ever had. The staff at Richmond Family Medicine are outstanding as well. Super friendly and helpful. Makes going to the doctor a pleasant experience even when you're not feeling well!

I was very happy with Dr Rabin for the first 2 years I was her patient, but I had only seen her for preventative visits and for basic care (upper respiratory infection). I followed her when she changed practices. Her new office leaves much to be desired: clueless staff, complicated process to get an appointment, and mismanagement of our medical claims. As for the care aspect, when I consulted her for an injury, she was happy to write me pain meds (which I did not request/turned out to be UNSAFE when breastfeeding) but told me to go to PT. When PT and chiropractic care were not improving my condition, it was impossible for her to consult with my other providers. When she was given repeated requests by my other providers and myself for imaging, she refused. Even the other professionals commented on her uncooperativeness. Thankfully I was able to find another provider who facilitated the care I needed to heal and function again (which ended up to be a procedure she said was outdated and unavailable--untrue on both counts), though I could have been saved months of pain and discomfort had she simply done her part. After the fact, I realized much of the treatment advice she gave me was inaccurate. If you never go to the doctor for anything serious, she's fine, but don't expect her to be a team player/reliable if a serious illness/injury arises.

This doctor violated my patient-physician confidentiality by speculating about my health with my ex husband without my consent or knowledge. When I confronted her about it, she pondered that patient-doctor confidentiality was "confusing." If you care about privacy, don't use this doctor.
