Gamal Eltabbakh's Online Review Report Card

Dr Eltabbakh had accepted me as a patient with a large abdominal mass. During surgery it caused some complications with my gastric bypass and small bowel. I was shipped via helicopter to Syracuse immediately following a complete hysterectomy and removal of the mass. I underwent another surgery to repair my small bowel and reversal of my gastric bypass. I stayed 9 days in Syracuse hospital. Dr. Eltabbakh called 2 days after surgery and then I called his office the following week for results of the biopsy of the mass. A month after being discharged from Syracuse hospital I called Dr Eltabbakh's office and inquired about a follow up appointment and the response I received was we didn't know you were out of the hospital. No one told us. We didn't know what happened to you.. You must have fallen in between the cracks ... seriously..at that point I felt that I was a number bc how can you not want to follow up with a patient that you shipped via helicopter to another hospital ..

Be very aware of anything this dr advises. Definetly get 2nd opinion with a dr not linked to him. I strongly suggest finding another Dr. This one just wants insurance money, and preys on desperate people. Please take this seriously. Im still dealing with major medical issues from his bad judgment and gross neglect. The only positive thing I can say is ,With my recent hospital stay I was informed he no longer practices at that hospital.

He and his wonderful staff took me in when i was having some serious health concerns. I have since been a patient of Dr. ELtabbakh's ever since. He is a kind man and listens and explains what is happening. His staff are so sweet and kind. I would always recomend him and his office staff 😁❤❤ Thank you Dr. E and office personel

This man saved my life. Some people don't like how straightforward he is, but I personally appreciate it. Especially when it comes to life and death.

I am very appreciative of the excellent care I receive in Dr. Eltabbakh's office. The staff are professional, efficient, friendly, and kind. I never feel like a number there. The office is relaxing and beautiful in a personal way, reflecting Dr. Eltabbakh's standards. He is a wonderful doctor who treats the whole patient. He listens, and addresses emotional issues as well as the medical side of things. I always leave there feeling very fortunate to have been referred to Dr. Eltabbakh by friends, and am happy to pass the referral along to others.

I have had the most professional, informative, and expedient care from Dr. Eltabbach, his wife Georgia, and the entire staff. I have nothing but high praise for them, from the initial visit in the office, through hospitalization, and now during recovery.

Dr. Eltabbakh is a highly skilled surgeon. His technical skills are wonderful. The people who work for him are very good and quite efficient. He only needs to improve a few things to be truly excellent. He does NOT follow certain proper procedures that can cause a lot of problems for his patients. He does not listen well. He does not give handouts to patients after performing a procedure so you don't know what to do. I developed a possibly life-threatening infection because they wouldn't listen

I've always received great care from Georgia - - I've never felt rushed in our appointments and have received prompt return of phone calls/messages if I've had questions before or after our appointments.

My experience with Dr. Eltabbakh has been incredibly positive in every way. The instant I met him I intuited that he was exactly the right doctor for me. He is professional without being cold, compassionate, sensitive, and clearly extremely knowledgeable. I was anxious about the possibility I had ovarian cancer and what the ramifications and my options might be, and he explained them very clearly and succinctly. He also allayed my immediate fears of the "what if's" by steering my thinking to the possibility I did not have cancer at all. I ended up deciding on a robotic laparoscopic total hysterectomy. Result: no cancer, one overnight in the hospital, and immediately free of the issues that caused me to seek medical help. His experience and credentials are superb, and I feel very fortunate and blessed to have had thegood fortune of a referral to him.

I am disabled. Other cancer doctors seemed more interested in finding an excuse to deny me treatment because of my disability. Not Dr. Eltababakh! He is caring, capable, and determined to fight cancer. I only wish I had found him sooner. I would have been spared a lot of stress. I encourage any woman looking for a gynecologic oncologist (especially any woman facing any sort of discrimination) to make an appointment with Dr. Eltabbakh.
