I recently had cataract surgery performed by Dr. Joshua Hardin. He was very patient in explaining my options for treatment and answering any questions I had about the cataract procedure. This was very helpful in relieving the anxiety I had prior to the procedures. I would definitely recommend Dr. Hardin and the team at Ophthalmic Consultants.

Just recently had cataract surgery on both eyes. I do not a single complaint! I was very well informed of every step. Dr Hardin answered all questions and I feel he was very efficient and professional. Couldn’t ask for a better physician. I would certainly recommend him and his office staff

I like Dr. Hardin. I know he has excellent credentials and I feel I am in "good hands" with him as I move forward with my glaucoma treatment. That being said, I do feel rushed during appointments. This, I am sure, is because the office is so busy. I also wish that appointment summaries were freely offered following a visit. I have this with My Chart through UVM Medical and I really miss this service. I have asked for a summary following my last two appointments with Dr. Hardin and was told I would receive them. So far..I have not! I have recommended Dr. Hardin to a friend who has been diagnosed with glaucoma recently. I did, however, voice my concerns to her as I have stated above. A day after posting this review, I did receive in the mail a written summary for my last visit. Thank you, Dr. Hardin.

A pleasant person, but needs to be more forthcoming with information. Did not tell me name of procedure, did not give me brochure about it, did not tell me what to expect afterwards. Thus I was unaware that visual loss was a problem needing attention, not just an expected, normal after effect. Further, information was not provided about how to use medication. Instructions on tapering off Prednisone are essential, and I should have been told this. I hope this feedback is helpful to the physician.

I can see clearly again … with 20/15 vision in both eyes after cataract surgery with Dr. Hardin! The world I saw before my surgery was blurry and brownish but now it’s sharp, crystal clear, and I see vivid colors again. Dr. Hardin and his team are great!
