A few years ago I had a bad traumatic break with my ankle. Dr. Charlson suggested taking out all the metal after a traveling Dr. did the main surgery. He is excellent , kind, never hurries you . I always go in with questions on paper and he answers all of them. A good surgeon that explains every step . Good bedside manners.

Operated on my mother for a ruptured tibial tendon. Over promised and under delivered to say the least. Made no compensations for her poor gait from the ruptured tendon, didn't recommend or even tell her about wearing something on the other foot while in a cast and boot to even her feet/knees/hips. She has chronic pain, developed an infection after having a screw removed and received no acknowledgement when she confronted him with her concerns.

Dr. Charlson is an excellent surgeon! He's extremely skilled and diagnosed my Norton's Neuroma on the first visit and the surgery & recovery went exceptionally well. He has excellent bedside manners, is very kind and compassionate. I highly recommend Dr. Charlson.

Dr. Charlson has performed two major surgeries on my feet with a third upcoming. He has been my only hope for having a somewhat normal foot again. He is professional, and unlike a lot of surgeons, actually has an amazing bedside manner. I couldn’t have asked to find a more competent and compassionate doctor to take care of me through an extremely difficult process. I can not recommend him highly enough!
