Christopher Ryder's Online Review Report Card

Dr Ryder took excellent care of my husband, whose first language is not English, for his nasal-sinus polyps and deviated septum. If we were still living in NH, we would certainly go to him again!

My father recently went to Dr. Ryder to have his throat scoped after months of multiple Drs seemingly ignoring my father's concerns and requests. My father has been having trouble breathing mornings and nights after recently quitting smoking. After looking at my father's throat he informed my father apologetically that it was throat cancer. He spoke with compassion and was apologizing like the cancer my father had was his fault . Fast forward a few days and we get a phone call from Dr.Ryder who informed us that he was up the night before going over my father's file and saw that a Dr hadn't prescribed him a steroid medication that is specifically designed to help the swelling in his throat and make breathing easier for him. He has has several episodes where the ambulance was called because he couldnt breathe in the night. These almost resulted in his death. This medication is potentially life saving in my father's situation and his main doctors overlooked it and many other things but Dr.Ryder took time to double check my father's file and show care and compassion instead of just moving on to the next patient. Not many Drs.now a days seem to have the qualities this doctor does and we sincerely thank him.

If you are overweight this is not the Dr. you should go see! When he fat shames you more in his notes than the problem you went to see him for, that is very sad. I wrote him a letter, talked to staff several times about amending his written report, due to the fat shaming, they refused and never got back to me.

Dr Ryder and his staff are the best! The personalized care I received was phenominal! My entire experience very satisfying and my medical issues were properly addressed and resolved.

Doctor Ryder acknowledged I had a positive culture yet refused to treat it with the needed antibiotics. I have had sinus issues since age 6. My last ENT treated me for 14 years and treated 3 generations of my family. I had to call him over 2000 miles away to get treated.

I was a complicated case. He had tried many things and I was still having problems, so he suggested a referral. I agreed and was waiting for the call. A few days later, out of nowhere, I receive a letter in the mail stating that he decided the referral would not be helpful and there was nothing more he could do for me. I tried to call for clarification, but no one ever returned my calls.
