List of David L. Muller's Reviews
I have been a patient of Dr Mullers for about 13 years. I’ve never run into anyone with a complaint. I get the gruffness and dismissal feelings because he is very short and to the point. You have to see the other providers there before you get to see Dr Muller. And the first few times I consulted with him I understand the naysayers. However it does take some time to establish that patient Dr trust. After meeting with the other providers over the years each time before I got to consult with Dr Muller I’d always be asking questions about him and his mannerisms. And I always ask Specific questions about my current issue and read up on what’s going on inside me. We all have our own stories to tell. And our bodies have their own stories to tell. If he feels that your specific problem would benefit from shedding 10-20 lbs he will let you know and not mince words. His way of performing a surgery may not be the same way another surgeon would do a surgery. Cookie cutter surgeons are a dime a dozen in my opinion. And if every surgeon were the same there would be no need to ever see another surgeon. And regular Drs are not surgeons. And surgeons are not regular Drs. He expects all his patients to be invested in there treatment and recovery. I’m sorry that you missed out on a very positive outcome working with him.
Dr Muller replaced my knee 14 yrs ago. It was the best thing that happened to me. He has performed carpul tunnel surgery, shoulder surgery and just recently released my trigger finger. Good grief what do I do if he retires. He's the best.
Very good surgeon I've had my shoulder done by him and having him doing more surgeries in the near future,he tells it like it Is
awesome staff. Monica was really helpful
He tells it like it is. Very nice to talk with. A very good surgeon, also.
Dr. Muller has done several operations on me and I have been totally happy with his work. He actually listens to me as a patient and makes me feel like part of the decision!
Dr. Muller was rude, dismissive, provided an inaccurate diagnosis which resulted in prolonged recovery, barely saw me during treatment, and made recommendations that my other physicians highly disagree with. He came recommended by a few people whose injuries were uncomplicated which makes me think that maybe his attitude & lack of care is a shield for his professional shortcomings! Do not see him for complex issues.
I read the other patient's negative comment and had to respond. I have seen Dr. Muller three times for arthritis in my hands, and he spent ample time with me each time and helped me greatly. I needed a letter written to my employer describing the difficulty I was having with fine motor skills and requesting other work duty I could perform. Dr. Muller wrote a beautiful letter recommending what I could do. The result was I was able to stay employed and continue to make a living. Dr Muller is an excellent doctor!
I think the headline says most of it, but after being sent to him by my family physician(after x-rays and an MRI),I was belittled. I was told my weight was my only problem even though my current ailment is unusual and I do exercise and have a regimen being as I live with Fibromyalgia and have for numerous years. I have battled weight for at least 10 years and at my thinnest best size for my bone structure, I was very thin and a size 9 at 155 lbs. He told be that I needed to lose AT LEAST 100 lbs, which would put me at 135 and anorexic in appearance. I am very offended and still in pain after my visit with him and at my next doctors visit I will ask them to pay for a bill that only amounted to a person reminding me that I have a weight problem and doing nothing for my current condition, whatever I guess that may be. At this point I'm clueless, and my doctors only want to view one tiny section at a time, and I guess in Dr.Mullers opinion, that would take a VERY long time with the size of my body. I even asked about the knee brace my doctor wanted me to go and BUY with my very low income family, and he told me that there was no purpose for it and that I wouldn't find one that would fit me anyway.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
