List of Tina M. Damato's Reviews
I’ve been a patient for 4 years and the care I’ve received has gotten worse over time. I went in to see dr d’amato post Covid with a lingering cough and weakness. I was given $1200 in blood tests which found nothing. I returned to “discuss the results” at a second appointment 8 weeks later, I was still struggling with the cough and weakness. Dr D’amato focused on prescription refills which were overdue. She did not perform a physical exam at either appointment - wouldn’t she want to listen to my lungs at least!? Her office personnel are also disrespectful, arguing with you about the “wrong type of appointment” or not able to determine your actual active prescriptions when it comes to renewal. Patients are directed to use the portal due to short staffing but staff stop communicating with you and refuse to call you back to discuss complicated issues. I’ve never had such terrible customer service experience in healthcare.
I saw Dr. D’amato for a couple of years and only switched to a new provider when I moved to a new home. She was great an I was very happy with her care! I would (and often do) recommend her.
Dr. D'Amato has been both knowledgeable and supportive over the past 9 years of our Dr./Patient relationship. She has some understanding of other forms of medicine beyond Osteopathy, and is willing to develop unique treatment plans that work for individuals with multiple challenges. I have heard her praises sung by many. I trust her because she knows her science, and likes her work.
I have never worked with such incompetent staff (nurse) at a doctor's office. There is no acute care. No doctor on call. Requests for acute care go unanswered. Lab work is not waiting at lab when indicated. Prescriptions not at pharmacy when indicated. Attempts to rectify these situations are met with a rude response - if any. Not quite sure how she's still in business.
I have had several experiences of not getting appointments scheduled easily or in a timely manner. I waited 3 months to get in with a sore throat last February. I called with back pain this past winter and while I received messages, nothing ever worked out with getting me in to be seen. Most recently I had pink eye. I called this past Wednesday and explained my daughter has pink eye and that both of my eyes felt irritated. The nurse argued with me. I never received a call back to be seen.
superior medical knowledge/skills and supportive bedside manner. if you are able to get an appointment with dr. d'amato, consider yourself lucky and in good hands.
I am a retired health care professional from Chicago. I have worked with the best of physicians. I was disappointed when I came to Vermont with my healthcare issues and found physicians that didn't listen, and frankly some were substandard. I guess you would say I doctor shopped until I was lucky through the grace of God to find Dr. Di Amato. I travel 2 hours and 30 minutes to see her. She has made correct diagnosis and was able to correct a thyroid issue a doctor in Chicago could not regulate. She listens, and looks me in the eye not at the chart. I am a person not a dollar bill. Some people choose this profession as parents were doctors or because it is good money and or it has status. They are intelligent and can get through medical school. But being a healer takes more than a good memory. A person must be able to apply what they learn and have the desire to heal. A healer is like a priest of the old days. It is a gift and somewhat of a calling. Dr. Do Amato has this special gift.I believe she loves her work and is a natural healer. I trust her with my life.
This doctors office is very unprofessional. I've seen Dr D'Amato 7 times and the wait time is a minimum of 45 mins. She has run multiple tests and does not call with results for weeks after they are in. Disappointed.
No waiting and a courteous receptionist. Dr. D'Amato listened to me and I didn't feel at all rushed. She gave me advice based on what I was saying...I was very impressed.
The best in vermont. Went though thre doctors before i found this competent, caring, professional, physican that actuallt listened and figured out my condition and treated it with success. God sent.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
