List of The Everett Clinic's Reviews
Heather Gutierrez PAC is a fantastic provider. The care from her was tremendous. I would recommend her as a provider to everyone. Very knowledgeable and a valuable employee to the practice. I was seen quite quickly, and was I very very capable hands.
I feel like Caitlin Desch saved my life by keeping after me to get a colonoscopy after failing the Cologuard and FIT tests. I finally had the colonoscopy and was diagnosed with colon cancer. It was, is, a terrifying experience. We got the bad news on a Friday night and Caitlin managed to see me on the following Monday. She was not even scheduled to be at work that week. She managed to get me scheduled for a CAT scan on Wednesday, an appointment with the surgeon on Thursday and an appointment with the oncologist on Friday. Her quick response really made a difference in my life. Don't know what the outcome will be but I am so thankful that she didn't give up on me and was so quick to coordinate all the specialist appointments right away. I am a control freak and had a follow up appointment with her this morning. I had a million questions. She answered them all with patience and understanding. I can't say enough good things about this very professional and caring young woman.
I don't understand the very negative reviews posted here. I also see Caitlen and I really like her and think highly of her expertise. I also think the people who run the desk are helpful and pleasant. The medical people I've seen here over the years have been professional, helpful and caring.
Dr. Helen Young has been my doctor for over a year and is always very thorough, knowledgeable, and patient. The clinic staff is nice and efficient as well.
Dr. Kotal is my 95-year old mother's doctor. She adores him. He is always very attentive and listens to us both (I attend all appointments as her advocate.) and takes excellent care of my mother. He was also my father's doctor until my father passed away in 2014. The only issue I have with the practice is that it takes two to three days to get a response to phone messages. My own doctor, who is with another clinic in the same town, always either returns my calls the same day or has his assistant return the call the same day.
It sounds like the negative review of Caitlin Desch was due to some sour grapes on the part of another reviewer. I've been in her care for a major medical issue (massive bilateral pulmonary embolism as a result of blood clots in my legs I erroneously figured was a pulled muscle) and have found her to be well informed, competent, and compassionate. Perhaps Ms. Sour Grapes was just angry that Caitlin couldn't be pushed around where it was not medically warranted? Everyone is entitled to their opinions so I mean no disrespect for that; however, objectivity is important when considering any review. Anyway, I read that review and just knew I needed to post my own to counteract it a bit. Frankly, I've never had a better relationship with a caregiver in my 52 years and that's saying a lot. Caitlin listens well and thoroughly addresses my concerns. She allows me to make decisions regarding my care after she has fully informed me of my options. I respect her competence and trust her completely. Please don't let Ms. Sour Grapes' review deter get in your way of considering this wonderful provider. Moreover, the office staff have all been absolutely wonderful to work with. I can't recommend this practice more highly.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
