List of Cascade Valley Hospital's Reviews
My wife Ciara was just there for 3 hours waiting to be seen with complaints of chest pains and being short of breathe. 3 hours with out a single check on her well being while there were multiple people with colds called back. Since when is someone in the ER with chest pain not a priority? I am so blown away with the level of service here. Absolutely unacceptable for anyones loved one to be ignored like that when they could have a serious issue.
Prescription issues in the ER were resolved quickly by the nurses who also have an overall great and helpful attitude.
Worst hospital I’ve ever been too, some of the rudest people I’ve ever come across, workers and patients!!! My son is over 200lbs and they offered him a two seater bench as a bed, and when one became available they didn’t bother to offer it to him. I had to ask and it’s been 15 minutes and no one has come back!!! I’m about to ask a fool up in here!!
I gave birth to my first baby at Cascade, natural birth at 39 weeks. I was the only women in the labor and delivery unit which helped give me a lot of attention. During my stay i was under the care of Tracy, Morgan and Amy (nurses) and Angela (lactation consultant). They are the reason my delivery, postpartum, first moments with my baby and whole experience was so amazing. I can’t even think how to express enough how appreciative I am of those nurses they had the patience to help, teach and take care of me. I learned so much from them and felt so cared for during my whole stay. I feel like they set motherhood off to a good start for my family and me. And when I was telling them I couldn’t do it (labor) they told me I could. The on call OBGYN I was seen by Dr. Slack was great as well, very calm and collected making me feel reassured.
Had two great experiences here! Dad had breathing problems one night a couple months ago and the care he received was fast and attentive. Two nights ago I had to go in around 11pm for something stuck on top of my eye. They were busy and understaffed yet kept everything going. Everyone working seems to help each other and they were all very friendly. I was there a total of 3.5 hours which was surprising considering the amount of people in there.
First visit and staff was courteous and helpful.
Dr. Santos is at Skagit Valley Hospital in Mt. Vernon. She is very knowledgeable and I am very happy to have her as my primary physician.
This hospital is a taste of heaven! Friendly and loving staff! Food is like a gourmet restaurant. It is like going back in time when human beings show compassion and have expert skills! I took my mom here and saw them take such lovely care of her. This is the best hospital in the Northwest!
It’s Sunday there is only one doctor on shift he has a terrible attitude and since he doesn’t want to waste his time he decided to not do any tests just what he medically thought was appropriate.. what a joke I think it’s time for him to retire he looks way past this time.
Very passionate about sleep. Listens to patient concerns. Not buried in his computer. Asks appropriate questions and listens and clarifies responses. He should teach bedside manner to every doctor.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
