Anna Bell Hibbs's Online Review Report Card

I have tried to give Doctor Bell-Hibbs a chance, but she has made me feel ignored and small each visit. Her MO with me seems to be to disregard my pain and frustration and be extremely condescending. A previous OBGYN suspected I may have endometriosis based on my pain and symptoms, and she's been extremely dismissive and apathetic about that. She put in my IUD and somehow broke it INSIDE OF ME, offered nothing for the terrible pain, and then proceeded to ask me if I was still interested in doing the IUD after she struggled to take the broken one out of me. I bled and sweat all over the table, and she simply recommended I go home and take some Tylenol. After I went on to have the worst 6 weeks of my life, bleeding and cramping worse than I ever had...nothing. Made me feel silly for following up, and more Tylenol. It's a real shame that she treats women this way. She should know better. I highly recommend seeking care elsewhere.

Very frustrated with my care by Dr. Bell-Hibbs and her office. Her one size fits all to Women's Health lead me down a path of extreme pain, inflamed by the drugs she prescribed me. In addition, she or her office submitted a referral with a code that left me with a huge bill. We had discussed prior to the referral what my insurance would covered and I went along with that procedure knowing it would be covered by insurance. When I reached out to ask why the incorrect code was used, she/her office denied it (even though I saw the referral from her office).

I love Dr Bell-Hibbs and recommend her to every woman I know. She was my doctor through my first high risk pregnancy and again when I had a miscarriage. She called me at home even though she didn't have to just to check in on me. What doctor does that these days? She's very caring and down to earth about health care. She doesn't ever push anything on me and listens to my concerns. I wish she could be my primary care doctor.
