List of Andrew P. Davis's Reviews
I have been a patient of Dr Davis for over 25 years. I have advanced stage of glaucoma and have had other eye diseases over the years. Dr Davis has always provided me with the best care. He is patient , shows understanding of my fears and anxiety and has always brought me back to function again with his good clinical judgement and treatment. I wish there are more caring and competent doctors like Dr.Davis who touches life for better each day.
I love Andy.. he's been my eye Dr. for 12 or more years. He is caring, knowledgeable, professional--yet friendly. The only "problem" in using this office is you will most certainly have to wait-- usually he is running behind. However, he never rushes his patients and spends as much time as needed with you.. and if you have an emergency, he will ALWAYS fit your in ASAP. I feel like I have A+ eye care from him.
Initial visit transferring from another provider due to insurance plan change. My office wait was less than 15 minutes (spent filling out forms), and I was brought back for initial workup. Dr Davis followed, with an extremely thorough exam, noting a problem that previous ophthalmologist had not mentioned. He recommended a plan of action that appears to be one that will resolve my problem. I am confident in his approach to my issues, and would recommend.
Dr. Andrew Davis has been my ophthalmologist for over 15 years. I first went to him when I needed new glasses and but was already blind in one eye & wanted to be followed by someone who knew the medical field, not just an optometrist. He has been amazing - works me in when I have had a scratched cornea or issues possibly related to my sight loss, even when it turned out I didn't have anything major. He is patient, knowledgeable, always researching & helpful. Highly recommend to EVERYONE!
After having been a patient of Dr. Davis for over 15 years, I had a recent, very poor experience. I waited for an hour past my 8:30 am appointment and I complained about the over-scheduling to Dr. Davis by email. Dr. Davis was good enough to cal me that evening to apologize but apparently my comments regarding their excessive wait times was not appreciated. A few days ago, I received a certified letter from the Eye Clinic of Bellevue informing me that I was no longer welcome as a patient
Very poor experience. Overbooked every time. I complained directly via email and phone to Dr. Davis. After this missed appointment due to overbooking, I received a certified letter informing me that I was no longer a patient and to seek eye care elsewhere. I’ve been a patient of Dr. Davis for over 15 years and apparently critical feedback is not acceptable.
Be prepared to wait for a long while after your appointment time to see Dr. Davis. I had three appointments. After waiting around 20-30 minutes for my first appointment I thought I'd make the second appt early at 8:00 AM figuring he couldn't get too far behind that early. Wrong. I waited 25 minutes that time. It only got worse. My third appointment was for minor surgery scheduled at 4:00 on Friday. I didn't bother showing up until 4:00 on the dot based on my prior experience. Waited 40 minutes in the waiting room and then 50 minutes in the exam room. Yes, 1.5 hours all told. And he still hadn't come in. The assistant came in twice to assure me they hadn't forgotten about me, but didn't explain why it was taking so long or give me any idea how much longer it would be. I finally walked out infuriated at 5:30. What a horrible way to treat a patient. No doctor has ever had less respect for my time than Dr. Davis did today. There was no email or phone call apologizing either, I figure maybe he was just happy to have his Friday over earlier. Truly awful experience.
I had 3 appts with Dr. Davis. The first two had long waits in the waiting room. On the 2nd visit I waited over 25 minutes past my appt. time. When he did come in those visits were fine, but I ended up needing minor surgery. On that 3rd appt. today I waited 40 minutes in the waiting room and then another 50 minutes in the exam room! At that point I finally walked out. Dr. Davis showed no respect for me and my time whatsoever. No explanation was given. Awful experience, I won't return.
Dr. Andrew Davis has been my ophthalmologist since I moved here from New Mexico and I have found him very thorough and upfront in his diagnosis with my eye condition. He gave me options and his best suggestion in resolving my eye issue and we proceeded. He did my cataract procedure and he was reassuring, I was fearful of the process. It has been six weeks since the surgery and I am glad I went thru with it. I can see so much better and decided to do the other eye in a couple of month.
Dr. Davis is an excellent, meticulous, surgeon. He treated my mother with care and consideration, he explained what he would be doing during the exam and what to expect with her 2 cataract surgeries. The wait in the office due to emergencies at the local hospital were unforeseen; however, he is worth the wait! My 76 year old mother's vision is now perfect and clear, for the first time in 69 years, she doesn't need to wear glasses. I highly recommend Dr. Davis!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
