This review pertains to Philip L. Griffin. I saw Phillip Lewis Griffin when I was around 21 years old, as a closeted LGBTx individual. I did not disclose this at first but regret informing him immediately after I did. He proceeded to ask me if I saw my Psychiatrist, Dr. Veena Prabhakar (a female) attractive, and that 'she was aesthetically appealing, wasn't she?' I immediately shut down, feeling incredibly uncomfortable. The next session, he asked me for the records for my other treatment, and when I asked why that would be necessary for my treatment with him. he said it was necessary because he felt it necessary. I thought he was joking and laughed. 'Well...Goodbye....' was his response. I walked out, kind of in shock. Looking back, and at a different time in my life, I view this as predatory and victimizing behavior. I am disgusted, in his manner, and am just grateful that I was only briefly in his care. I later discovered he was a Religious/Christianity-based counselor, and unfortunately that explains his incongruent attitude once I came out as gay to him. Avoid this therapist if you want an open-minded, unbiased, caring therapist
I'd prefer a zero rating if I could. Aside from offering me water, nothing else was genuine. These are snake.oil salesman. Nicole makes promises she cannot keep. She put down all Washington facilities and promoted a Malibu based detox center that she "talked insurance down to" a $10k deductible. When I declined, she ghosted me. Go elsewhere. If you are vulnerable and need help, avoid this place.
Definitely do not recommend this place. Their medication coordinator is exceptionally rude and has hung up on me for no reason (she had called me 3 times and I had walked her through how to resolve an issue for a family member, but she kept talking over me so the only way to get a word in was unfortunately to talk over her). A previous doctor there did not want to be held accountable to call in prescriptions or write a return to work note (delayed by a month) and retaliated by dropping me and my family as patients when we complained. I did like my last doctor there but unfortunately when I alerted them about their coordinator hanging up on me they decided to drop me as a patient with no prescriptions or appointments. A word of advice- do not ever complain and make sure you plan a month ahead for any paperwork or prescriptions you may need. Additionally because of the incompetency of their coordinator my family member received their medication 1 month late.
its hard to get hold of your provide or whoever the person you were talking with, they avoid talking to you about your specific case, they will require you to go back to start, instead of continuing the service where you left at. No reconsideration whatsoever, and if you need documents , they are slow, they make sure you pay first, its like pay me before anything else, we cannot help you if you dont pay first! Period! No Excemptions lmao Rating is POOR, or very POOR! for Customers satisfaction, But for the investors or owner, very Good guys and girls!!! lmao
The doctor lacked any emotional response and was mechanical throughout our visits. The front desk person seemed to have the same disposition and didn't want to be bothered with communicating all the costs of testing upfront before scheduling me, which cost me hundreds out of pocket after the fact since my health benefits didn't cover learning disability testing. No treatment of cost summary, just a big bill after it's all said and done. So don't expect them to check if your coverage will cover it on your behalf. After experiencing sticker shock, I told them I wouldn't be able to pay everything upfront and would have to pay what I can monthly. This was right before the pandemic shut everything down and I was unsure what my job situation would look like. They wanted me to make an official payment plan but again, I wasn't able to promise paying the same amount each month if I was about to lose my job. Each time I called their billing offices, I was told a different story that my insurance should have paid it and I need to reach out to them, basically getting the runaround. I made payments when I could, most of them monthly, and the last amount I had remaining before paying it off they threatened to send me to collections for during a pandemic just because I couldn't sign a payment agreement. After I've been making payments in good faith. Real classy and caring for a counseling establishment. The bill has been paid in full and I will never go back there again nor would I recommend it to anyone. They treat you like a number, not a client. I don't even know if I trust the final diagnosis as I felt intimidated by the person assessing me. And he was always starting our sessions late, which was really annoying considering how much they charge per visit. This place left me feeling very disenfranchised.
The actual staff is kind, does their job, has a kept office, but I am here to leave a review about the LACK of ease for someone with a wheel chair. They do not have an sort of accommodation should someone need one, they are currently not answering back any feedback I've given via comment cards, conversations, and emails, and I'm particularly let down that at the Northgate location the office itself is just not friendly for wheelchairs. Door ways, ramps, etc. I'm at a loss for what to do beyond just providing feedback. It seems like this should be addressed? I can not imagine being the first person encountering the problem. I thought everyone should have accessibility.
Expect poor and unreliable mental health services from this clinic. I've been going there for over 10 years, and since it's gone downhill. For one, they undervalue and underpay the staff, causing high turnover. (Staff member actually told me in one of my appointments) Their best doctors have left and In the last 4 years, I've had 4 different "psychiatrists" because they eventually leave. ABHC's latest replacement wasn't even a Psychiatrist, but a "Nurse Practitioner". Her lack of knowledge and depth in understanding the complexity in managing mental health, or knowing the side effects of the drugs she would prescribe - it became obvious she was unqualified to do this kind of work. Yet she's still there... Which raises questions about what's behind psychiatric services said to be available through this Bellevue ABHC clinic, because the focus isn't on quality of care for their patients, but of increase in business revenue.
TMS ruined me. I have the worst side effects and depression came back 20 times worse.
They gave me a good price and the way the procedure was explained over the phone seemed good. Later I was contacted and asked to schedule more appointments worth $250 each. This was never mentioned when I called to inquire, nor when I spoke the gentleman who did the evaluation. No other company that I talked to mentioned several appointments.they all said - one appointment , including UA same week, but I picked those people because the were $40 cheaper for the assessment. Would not recommend!
The response time to my online request to phone contact was fantastic. Was able to get an appointment scheduled within a few days as well. Alex has a lot of experience and made me feel respected. They are extremely flexible and helpful.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
