Dr. Backous was to quickly synthesize medical records from other sources (an ENT, a neurologist, audiologists, medical brain scan reports, along his own examination those of colleague within his Edmonds office to diagnose my condition. His candor and deportment were much appreciated, after dealing 15 weeks with a host of healthcare professionals that could not provide a diagnosis and care plan other than referral to the next higher level physician. It is definitely true, as stated by the neurologist that referred me, Dr. Backous is a must smarter specialist that is the caliber needed.I am looking forward to the follow-up vestibular therapy that will help me overcome this medical condition that I am dealing with.

Thank goodness for Dr. Backous! I couldn’t have found a better ENT to perform a surgery that I had given up hope for. I now have a new eardrum since 2017 and have no more worries about keeping my ear safe from something as simple as taking a daily shower and not getting water in my ear. I’d had a perforated eardrum for 50 years and no hope of repair until Dr Backous reassured me that he could help and help he did. Dr Backous is tops in my book not only as the best surgeon but as a caring, compassionate person who really wants to help improve the quality of ones life. I’ve been back to see Dr Backous for check ups when I felt nervous something wasn’t feeling just right in my ear and for earwax removal and he’s always Welcoming and reassuring no matter how insignificant my concern may be especially to a busy doctor. I really like Dr. Backous, he is very good at what he does and I couldn't be more happy with my results. If you want a Dr. that's going to sit and hold your hand and listen to your life's story, he's not that kind of Dr., but if you are light hearted and like to joke around like I do he's great!!!!! The nursing staff at the hospital were great, fun and we all had a lot of laughs. My results are great and I'm glad I had the surgery done!!!!!
