Gwen Hanson's Online Review Report Card

Gwen is a one-woman show. She is extremely knowledgeable and caring. She treats me and my family like we are her own. I have never had a doctor like her before and HIGHLY recommend her to anyone.

Dr. Hanson runs a very small practice and she knows each of her patients very well. She is the opposite of what is wrong with medicine in this country.

I have been seeing Dr Hanson for over 3 years and have remarked to my colleagues about how different her office is. She spends more face time with me than I am used to in our visits, preferring to keep her own records at the time of visits, inputting as we talk, asking follow-up questions connected with our previous visits, even if they were months previous and sometimes sends me articles and links related to my situation afterwards. Her referrals for lab tests and specialists are always in-network with my insurance, which I appreciate! She is a fine doctor and I recommend her highly.

I would highly recommend Dr Gwen Hanson although she does not take any new patients. She is the most caring MD I have ever experienced. She spends a lot of time with her patients and you feel never rushed.She is experienced in managing both acute and chronic disease and will look for alternatives to medication if possible and prescribes medication responsibly. She responds promptly to phone messages and it is easy to schedule an appointment with her via the internet.

The diagnosis is not accurate so that I had to spend time visiting another doctors and figure things out.

Great doctor, Hansen takes the time to listen, she has excellent bedside manner. There is no staff; she is a one-woman-show. Hansen does everything including the billing. She also gives you her cell phone number in case of an emergency. Most efficient doctor I have seen.

Easy going individual and has the system to track all your issues.

Not sure what this other review is about...I have gone to Dr. Hanson for several years and have referred several family members. She is a solo practice so you deal with her, no office staff, no "billing dept" - she knows your history, she cares about your whole life not just your current illness, and she spends 20-30 minutes with you per visit (1 hour for your first visit). The only thing that I rated her down a little on is being on time because she is very thorough and cares about each patient as a person, so she often runs over time. I will wait for this kind of care and concern any day! She is the type of doctor that would have done house calls back in the day. In a word: fabulous!

Lacks basic knowledge and is also irresponsible about calling patients and informing them about problems.Another doctor recognised my problem in the very first visit.Gets easily irritated if youexpect an answer or explanation to the problem you suffer with.
