I’ve been seeing Dr Jaren for about 5 years. He is outstanding. He takes time during appointments, listens well and is extremely caring. I highly recommend him.

I saw Dr. Jaren today for a Nerve Conduction study, which I was very nervous about. He helped me relax and the study was a piece of cake. If you can stand the feeling of getting a rubber band snapped against you, you can easily do this test, a rubber band is much worse! He also spent a lot of time with me and answered all of my questions.

Frustrating experience. Didn't listen to me. Believes in acupuncture despite it not being effective.

After spending a year and a 1/2 with another doctor i wasn't having my issues addressed properly. When I changed to Dr. Jaren I immediately saw results. At the 1st appointment changes to my medications were made and I immediately started to feel better. Dr. Jaren listened to my issues then spent time to explain how he felt changes in my treatment would help. Changes made a world of difference. Dr. Jaren is quick to respond to emails through the patient portal... even on weekends! At appointments I fully understand the treatment and Dr. Jaren makes sure I have no questions! Highly recommended Dr. Jaren!

I was seeing another neurologist for a year and a half with awful symptoms from a work injury. I was frustrated because my issues weren't getting better. Within 1 visit Dr. Jaren adjusted medication and even eliminated one. Just had my 2nd visit and another adjustment in medication and my issues are getting better. Dr. Jaren took time at both appointments to explain the changes and why he was making adjustments. He took the time to make sure I was understanding the changes and why they should help. The Overlake patient portal is also very helpful. I was able several times to email direct with Dr. Jaren and he answered quickly. I highly recommend Dr. Jaren!

He was very calm during my husbands visit and even went over and beyond in getting my husband his medications approved through insurance with emergency appeals to treat Wilsons disease. We truly appreciated having him make personal calls and provide updates.

After seeing 4 neurologists and being told there was nothing more they could do for me, I found Dr Jaren. He listens, knows his stuff, has a calm manner and has the quickest response time of any doctor I have seen. Highly recommended.

Dementia/Alzheimers is such a horrible disease, taking a loved one away slowly a bit at a time so a sympathetic, understanding, physician is a must. Dr Jaren is just that. He phones you when he says he will and is so approachable. Glad he is our Neurologist

Dr. Jaren is an outstanding neurologist; certainly, the best I've had the good fortune to work with. In my case, he was able to analyze the MRI's I've had over several years, review the work of two other prominent neurologists and order the most reveling and useful tests I've received. He was able to more accurately and completely incorporate the results of a very old traumatic brain injury into my current MRI studies and significantly modify my diagnosis and prognosis.

I'm suprised that another reviewer felt Dr. Jaren didn't listen to them. I did not have that impression at all. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to friends / family.
