Overlake Medical Center's Online Review Report Card

While visiting Washington I suddenly began suffering from a torsion of my ovary in the middle of the night. Luckily we were staying minutes from the hospital and were able to quickly get to the ER. They were very quick to get me checked into the ER with no wait and jumped to action to find out what was wrong. The staff was very attentive and was there for absolutely anything I needed. This was one of the scariest things myself and my husband has been through but the staff of Overlake Medical Center helped us weather the storm. I am so very thankful for the speed and attentiveness of this staff. For someone who suffers from infertility, but so badly wants kids, I was absolutely terrified I was going to lose my ovary. (Majority cases of ovarian torsion, the ovary dies before the torsion is found) This wonderful team not only did absolutely everything to keep me as comfortable as possible but got me into the OR in time to save my ovary! I will forever be grateful to Overlake Medical Center! The Emergency Room may have not been on my Seattle itinerary but I’m glad to have had this wonderful team fighting for me.

I was up in Bellevue attending a conference. My wife had traveled with me. She woke up in terrible pain during the weekend. I rushed her to the closest hospital. There it was found she needed emergency surgery. The staff at Overlake were nothing short of amazing. Excellent bed side manner. I’m very thankful for the amazing and talented staff.

the doctors and nurses especially in the ER are racist as hell, rude and disrespectful, they do not care about caring for people education of color, I will never come there again or send anyone there, please find a different place to go for care, they will discharge and take to you crazy while you dying in pain sick and worst

I love Overlake. My OBGYN Dr. Bienenfeld is so wonderful. I've had to go into OB Emergency twice now and the nurses, Katey and Ally, were so nice. (I'm pretty sure those were their names, I'm bad with names) ANYWAYS, everyone is very nice and professional

I wanna take this time to give some mad respect to the female doctors - consultants and residents. In a once male dominant field you all are shining, dominating and impacting positive change to patient care and the field in general. #Overlakehospitalandmedicalclinic💯

They are constantly canceling scheduled surgeries at the last minute. They are not reliable.

My husband had Ablation for V-Tach & ICD placement. Dr. Derek Rodrigues, Dr. Tzevan Poon, and team were incredible. Sarah & Brianne, in pre op area, Judy & staff on the Heart floor; your confidence, kindness, and excellence in care exceeded our expectations. The overall experience from Scheduling in the Clinic, Coordination of Care Preoperatively, Admission and Discharge was seamless. Thank you to everyone making this possible. You are noticed.

I have been a patient of Overlake for over 20 years. I am impressed by everyone who works at Overlake from the physicians, nurses, and technologists. Everyone puts in 100% for their patients. I was a patient on 1/29/2021 and I would like to thank the team who took care of me. Dr. Bellis (Emergency department), Deb(Charge Nurse Emergency Department), McKenna and Karlee(Emergency Department Nurses), John( Emergency PCT), Dr. Amidon and Heywood (Cardiologist), Henryk (Echo Cardiology Tech), Julie(EKG tech), Lory( Radiologic Technologist), Randall, Mai, Kim and Shanetta in CT department, Jing (IR nurse). Thank you all for the compassion and excellent care you gave me while I was a patient under your care.
