Juan is a miracle worker. I am so glad I found him and his salon. Anyone feeling nervous about going to a stylist because of thinning hair issues should not hesitate to give this place a try. You will be in the best hands.

The people at Salon Juan have changed my life! I have had thin hair for years and it was a source of frustration and embarrassment on a daily basis. I went with a friend and tried a wig for awhile but eventually took the plunge and ordered a CNC system and I am thrilled! Waking up with a full head of hair everyday is a life changing experience! I am so thankful for the caring and compassion they showed me and am forever grateful!

If you are thinking even at all, of addressing your thinning hair needs and want a quality, informative, intuitive consultation then you owe it to yourself to go to Salon Juan. I drove up this morning from Portland for a consultation. Arrived a half hour late after having my planner/backpack stolen a day ago, and thinking since the salon opened at 10 am, well...my fault I thought my appointment was at 10 and I was late. They were very professional and understanding and I had my consultation after all despite my late arrival. Juan explained in detail what my options are at this point with my hair I have left and lifestyle and personal comfort level at taking care of it. It was all great information, and I left having had all of my questions addressed as well as some I had not thought of. General pricing was discussed and the process for how it would all happen. I feel that the pricing is very fair and reasonable considering what I would be getting including the service from a salon and person that knows what they are doing likely better than most others. I am of the opinion that this salon and Juan are going to give the most highly customized, detailed and compassionate effort than anywhere else. I think its important to realize that these pieces whether stock or custom, are wearable art, and a huge amount of effort and experience go into this process. For those wanting something less than the best then go elsewhere. If you want the best work and a high level human experience, then go to Salon Juan. I will post another review later on my experience of actually getting my piece and how that went. Been going for 3 years now and have nothing but wonderful things to say! Salon Juan really is a gem.

I read wonderful Yelps about this salon and happily called on Friday morning at 10:40am to schedule an appointment. They don't have a receptionist so I left a voicemail with my contact information. Their recording gives you details on how to email and text them for an appointment in addition to leaving a message. Fast forward to Tuesday and I still have yet to have someone call me back. Again I leave another voicemail. Robin did call me back, but unfortunately I was unable to pick up the phone. She left a voicemail explaining that she needed more information and to feel free to call or send a text message with all of the details and reiterated her number twice. I texted her back at 3 PM with all of my contact information and that I needed haircut and color. I even excitedly added a bit about how wonderful the yelps are and how self-conscious I am at normal salons and I felt super excited to try a place that seemed really inviting and friendly for people who experience hair loss. I did not receive a call back or text that Tuesday nor did I receive a call or text Wednesday or today Thursday. I even texted Wednesday with a message that I was following up and again... nothing. I'm sure they might be amazing if you luck out and get someone to call you or care at all about scheduling an appointment.

If your looking for a solution for hair loss wether it be big or small this is the place to go! Juan and Robin are so compassionate and will help you along the way with great options and suggestion. Highly recommended +++

I love Melissa so much! She's done both a balayage and full foils on me and my blonde hair looks PERFECT every time. She's so friendly, and caring and exceptionally wise and helpful. I 100% recommend her for all things hair.

Juan is great! He put low lights in my new follea to make it go with my skin tone and did a fantastic job! He also was able to color my other and send it back to me so I didn't have to wait. Great cut and very friendly!

Juan knew what was wrong with my hair as soon as I started talking, trich and color damage, even better than I did, and we were quickly on the same page about what to do with it. In the end I got a black human hair wig, and got it cut to the perfect length. Talking to Juan and Robin I felt confident in wearing a wig and that it was a very normal thing to do. If you're thinking about getting an appointment at Salon Juan, do it! His calendar fills up fast as he is an amazing stylist, you won't regret it!
