List of Stephen J. Lemon Md's Reviews
Dr. Lemon has been my OH during my battle and has been thoughtful, empathetic, informative, and supportive. We have had great conversations re my care, that actively included soliciting other expert opinions. He has deep knowledge in his field and I am grateful to have met him and have him involved in my care.
He refused to see me because I cannot pull the mask up over my nose. Because of a horrible accident in 2008 and multiple injuries,, I was left with a head injury that causes me to panic if I can't breath and I can go into seizures. I explained this to the office staff and tried to cooperate by wearing a cloth mask that went up to my nose AND a plastic shield on top of that but they still refused to see me. I asked to have Dr. Lemon me and tell me what I should do but I NEVER HEARD FROM HIM, only his office and they were rude. I asked for a referral but never heard anything, again. I decided to physically go to his office and at least get a referral and my records but because I wouldn't leave, the receptionist called security to have me escorted out!!! I did get a new oncologist thru my radioligist and internist but couldn't get in til Oct 6th. I ran out of meds and because the new doctor can't prescribe until she sees me, said to have Dr. Lemon refill it. I didn't have enough to last to Oct 6th but Dr. Lemon refused to refill my prescription to that point. My internist tried to intervene by having calling Dr. Lemon's office. Messages were not returned. I am out of my cancer meds and am not suppose to miss them but I can't get any help. I am trying to get my internist to prescribe enough till Ict 6th but this has caused me so much stress I have gone into pre-seizure mode more than once. Great doctor, huh? Not!! I will be filing a complaint with the King County Medical Board and more. No one should be treated this way. Unconscionable, at best!
I met Dr. Lemon in Sept 2019 when I was diagnosed with stage 4 lymphoma. At the beginning, my odds of survival did not look great. It was through Dr. Lemon's dedication and high level of care that we were able to land on a treatment that worked and that ultimately saved my life. During my fight with cancer, Dr. Lemon went above and beyond my expectation for a ‘normal doctor'. He personally came to check on me twice every day while I was hospitalized, and he followed up on weekends when I was recovering at home to adjust my medication because of new test results. I don’t wish cancer on anyone, but if you happen to be diagnosed with it, you will be in good hands with Dr. Lemon.
I thought very highly of Dr. Lemon UNTIL this incident. I made an appt to see him because I hadn't seen him in over a year and my pharmacist said I should. When I arrived at the office they refused to see me because I can't put a mask up over my nose due to a head injury. I get seizures if I can't breath. I explained this to the staff & tried to cooperate by wearing a cloth mask up to my nose and plastic shield on top of that but they still refused to see me. I left but asked that Dr. Lemon call me. Never heard from him, just his office I asked for a referral. Nothing. So, I went to his office to ask for a referral but they wouldn't help me. I wouldn't leave without a referral, so the receptionist called security to escort me out! I got new oncologist but couldn't get in til Oct 6. My Rx would run out so I needed more to last to then. Dr. Lemon wouldn't do it. Horrible treatment! Unconscionable, at best!
I had Dr Lemon in Omaha. He is a caring person that truly listens to his patients. I miss him but know others will be blessed by him.
Dr lemon was my oncologist for 10 years .hes wonderful .he helped me with my chemo and finding the right one for me.now I have cancer again and he's moved away. I need him .
No informed consent, no explanations on drugs or my leukemia. He put me on a dangerous expensive drug that made my lymphocyte count go sky high. He didn't bother to explain that drug was not curative, only a maintenance drug. I had severe abdominal pain, he gave me no answers for why the pain, not even a creative lie.
He cares, he finds out what's REALLY going on with you. Love him.
Dr. Lemon and his staff are amazing! The level of care I receive at his office has indeed been instrumental in my treatment of cancer. They are warm and welcoming and very honest about what to expect in this very imperative matter relative to my health. I recommend Dr. Lemon at Oncology Associates if you are in the Omaha, NE area for your Oncology needs. It's not the best situation to be in, but you want a medical team that is going to fight for you - this is definitely it!!
Dr Lemon and his staff are the best. They really care about their patients.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
