I would like to contact Dr. McKinney. Dr. McKinney was my doctor for many years in Bellingham. WA. Then he left Peace Health. Does anyone know if he is back in practice again in Bellingham and how to contact him?

Best doctor ever.

Dr. McKinney has been my Dr. for 15 years and would like to continue to be his patient.

Our primary doctor for almost 12 years. We find him communicative, never feel rushed or talked down to you. He listens to your problem and then suggests an action or medication I find that he keeps the medications to a necessity and will work with you to find the appropriate one and dosage. Each time he enters the room he smiles and shakes your hand-it makes you feel at ease

I have been with Dr. McKInney since 2010. I find him to be kind, caring, honest, smart and persistent in treating my chronic complicated health issues. I am a nurse so I have very high standards that require a provider to engage. I want to work as a team and have consistent communication. Ultimately, I am responsible. It is nearly impossible to get in to see Dr. MCKinney which is my only concern about his care. I feel that is mismanagement by the clinic to give him such a heavy caseload.

One of the best Doctors I have ever had. He is kind, caring , supportive and has a wholistic approach allowing me to manage my care with his support. I feel his clinic does not support his ability to practice good medicine due to a patient load that is overwhelming.They also only provide unlicensed staff to support him leaving an incredible void to make mistakes. I am VERY happy with his care but disappointed in the Company that he works for and the lack of professionalism with Peace Health and the way they run their clinics.

Dr. McKinney is thorough and took the time to diagnose and treat my problems. He doesn't use the prescribe-and-dismiss treatment that so many doctors do and has been great with follow-up and personal attention to my situation.

Dr. McKinney is one of the best primary care physicians I have had, and definitely the best in this area. I presented with several difficult challenges and he tackled most of them over the course of a few visits, each one with thoroughness and caring, but also a keen sense of prioritizing. I was astonished that when his schedule was too full to fit me in for a visit, he actually came in on what should have been a day off to enable it to happen. He seems to truly care about helping his patients. He also seems to have solid ethics about which doctors he sends referrals to (i.e., he knows other doctors' reputations and doesn't throw you to the wolves, so to speak.) He seems very experienced and knowledgeable, yet he doesn't patronize or discount feedback from patients. I'd say his biggest flaw that he appears in great demand and is somewhat overworked, but he seems able to manage his time pretty well within these constraints. Very happy under his care.
