As an advanced senior with sleep issue for a few years, Dr. Berry was able to provide the remedy at a single consultation. Since the visit with Dr. Berry, I have been able to stay asleep throughout the entire night providing much needed relief from physical exhaustion during the daytime. With DR. Berry you can expect to receive professional support from a physician who listen attentively to all you have to say and asks the appropriate questions to arrive at a correct diagnosis and provide the excellent support you are seeking.

This Dr. is the HEAD of the Peace Health Pulmonary Dept. in Bellingham, WA. That is disconcerting since he cannot seem to answer simple but technical questions with regards to CPAP and BiPap therapy. He does not respond to email, and when I wrote to my primary to ask help in getting him to respond, his response said "Sorry but...I may have been a bit overwhelmed [by your questions]". He summarized his email at the end with "I realize this answer is inadequate but its the best I can do". REALLY? This is the HEAD of the Pulmonary dept? All I asked was a couple CPAP related questions about whether or not the AHI's reported on my Resmed daily report were episodes the CPAP was not able to correct at the current air pressure setting, or if it was the number of episodes that I experienced "in total" over the course of the night. I also asked if there was any machine that would lower the pressure after an episode and hold it at the lower pressure until the next episode, and he responded " I apologize but I do not understand your question about no machine that we will go back down and stay there at 9 after each episode until the next one." (that is a direct cut and paste from his email - the errors in it are his). He also made a glaring error when he said "EPR is more complicated than you described it does not ramp down by 2 cm of water during all of expiration––" Ramp has nothing to do with water. It has to do with AIR pressure. During my visit, when I asked particulars about my machine his response was something like"There are over 100 machines on the market - I can't know about all of them"........the RESMED is the most often used machine there is and he's been doing this for 39 years! If he is going to prescribe something, he BETTER know about how it works! I feel he not only does not listen, he is losing his edge on comprehension, and possibly its time for him to retire. Money wasted and confidence totally lost.

I've seen Dr. Berry for a long-term sleep disorder. He is well informed, keeps up with research, listens and explains well, and allows patients to make informed decisions about their health. In short, an excellent doctor. He is very busy and scheduling is often a few months out, but well worth the wait.

I have an immune disorder and was always sick and didn't sleep more than 30 minutes at a time. I was almost always on prednisone. After I met Dr Berry he listened like he cared (He does) sent me to a sleep center and from the results found out what was wrong and changed my life. I have not taken prednisone in a year, I went from bed ridden to hiking and having a life I never thought possible. I cannot say enough about him and his staff at Peace Health.

I have been seeing Dr. Berry for six years. He has always provided accurate diagnoses and holistic treatment of my many medical issues. He is an excellent diagnostician and listens very well to patients.

I owe my life to Dr. Berry and if wasn't for him I wouldn't be here today.

I was misdiagnosed by this doctor and at one point even told that I was faking symptoms for attention, only to end up in the ER hours later with serious complications due to Dr. Berry's negligence. He did not even have the guts to apologize or admit he was wrong. He does not listen to his patients and belittles them when trying to speak up for themselves.
