I was recommended to see Dr Bailey for cataracts in my eyes and after seeing her, she recommended $2,200 surgery for one eye first. The surgery did not go well and she did another surgery to fix the first surgery. Now I have to wear coke bottle lens to see and the best I can see without my glasses ( I did not wear glasses prior to surgery) is the Big E on the eye chart. I wish I had never gone to her.

Early in 2022 I was diagnosed with cataract level 4 in my right eye. Visions recommended Kristi Bailey at Whatcom eye surgeons. They tested my eye and for an additional $2200 they recommended a lens to see very clear. After that surgery I could only read the big E on the eye chart. They said that happens in 15 % of the cases and they would fix it. Another surgery and they put a different lens in and it's horrible. I wish I never went to her.

My cataract surgery performed by Dr. Bailey was a great success - exceeds my expectations. Working with her was very pleasant. I felt like my eyes were in GOOD HANDS. And the follow-up's with Drs. Bence and Wright were equally professional and genuine. However, interacting with the staff (in B'ham and Mt. Vernon) was a mixed experience. Half the staff seems impersonal, machine-like and entirely task oriented. The other half was friendly, personable, genuine, and helpful. Huge difference.

I could not be more impressed than with Dr. Kristi Bailey. I never before thought that I would not have to wear glasses again. The support on checking me out after the two surgeries has been excellent! A whole new world was created for my "look on life"! She is wonderful in patient comfort and follow-up; Whatcom Eye Surgeons is the place to go. I am certain all doctors there are wonderful; but I have already recommended several others to Dr. Kristi!!
