Best Doctor ever !!! very Knowledgeable,Kind, sympathetic and efficient!! I would recommend to all my friends and family. 5 stars!!!the only down side is parking.
Reviewed On Vitals
Dr. Chang removed my gallbladder a few months ago. I was terrified of surgery, but my experience could not have been any better. Dr. Chang and one of her residents spent probably 45 minutes with me at my consultation, just explaining, even drawing diagrams, so I knew exactly what was going to happen during the surgery. I have heard people say they never saw their surgeon the day of their surgery, but Dr. Chang and her resident both came to talk to me, and just check in, before I went into surgery. After I left the hospital, I had some common complications over the next week (a bad reaction to the anesthesia and some weird phantom pain). Dr. Chang fit me in between surgeries on a day when she doesn't see patients, to check me out herself. The same resident was involved throughout the whole process, and she was always available by phone, even in the middle of the night when I needed nausea pills called into a pharmacy (rather than some random, unfamiliar on-call doctor). Dr. Chang also told me to feel free to come back into her office in the months following my surgery if I had any questions or problems with my healing incisions, and it would be free of charge. I had assumed that being treated at a teaching hospital would lower my level of care, but Dr. Chang and her resident made me feel as if I had a team of concerned doctors, whose sole focus was me. I never felt rushed or ignored; even when Dr. Chang examined me on her LUNCH BREAK in between surgeries, she acted like she had all the time in the world for me. She is sweet and personable, and just completely put my mind at ease through the whole process. I would go out of my way to choose her for any future surgeries.
