Great doctor and human being right here. Marty Piatt is knowledgeable AND personable with a fantastic sense of humor. This is a great and rare combination for a person of this professional. I have always felt as though he genuinely cares about my state and the outcomes of treatments or recommendations he prescribes. Highly recommend!

This doctor should not be a doctor. He is uncaring, rude and obviously unfit for his job.

I am still in shock after seeing martin piatt today. He was rude, uncaring and kept saying I don't know all the time. Time to retire

Hey! My names Robert. I love PeaceHealth, and I’ve gone there ever since I was a kid for general care. I’ve had only two doctors there, and in my adult care thus far it’s been Doctor Piatt. For the longest time I had a positive experience with him, and his straight forward attitude was appreciated. Following my last two experiences, his attitude as a doctor has shifted dramatically and I would definitely recommend considering other doctors first. I came in for an assessment for ADHD and wondering what options were available, he proceeded to never look at any of my forms I filled out - become extra short with me & assume that I was drug-seeking specifically for stimulants (which I only came in for an assessment and all options to be explained to me..). I tried to explain my intentions in many ways but I never got cared for in any typical way. Assumptions and shaded offensive comments filled the room instead of questions asking me how I felt, the history of my symptoms, what I’ve tried growing up to aid naturally, etc.. Then he proceeded to prescribe a medicine to me, while not answering me on what the potential side effects / interactions were, and slammed the files on the table post-my questions and said “I don’t know it may work it may not..!”, and left without notice. I was so shocked, especially when he could see in my eyes how much the appointment was confusing me. I left the appointment with a prescription he gave that I knew no details on, (planning not to take of course ) -which I learned soon after very clearly conflicted with my current medication he currently prescribed. Not even something to try. There was so much personal issue I took being assumed as a drug-seeking patient FIRST, before I was a patient. We fill out these forms for a reason, we spend the money for a reason - To be checked out, and to be provided with a route to take. I understand there are many who struggle with addiction, and specifically this area of Medicine - but that conversation could have been had after my symptoms - and not instead of them. I wrote a letter to PeaceHealth and they later found the claims true, and removed the charge for the appointment (thank You to the VP and the letter sent, I’ll always go to PeaceHealth). But I wouldn’t recommend this doctor to anyone anymore. Spend your money where you know you’ll get what you wanted In the beginning. Times to short & sometimes symptoms are hard to deal with.

I've gone to Dr. Piatt since I was a child. Highly recommend. Never got the sense that he rushed the appointment and always was friendly and good at explaining things.

Had him as my doctor for many years. Super knowledgeable and friendly. I highly recommend him.

My family and I have been going to Dr. Piat since our kids were born (over 12 years ago now). We love him. I don't know what doctor another reviewer was talking about, but I have never heard Dr. Piat reference a car, let alone a Mercedes. He is part of our family and knows us well. We appreciate having one doctor to see all four of us who understands our family instead of having separate doctors for adults and kids. Wonderful doctor!

GREAT doctor. Awesome sense of humor, super happy, and all around helpful. I have moved back and forth to doctors and he is the best I’ve gone too. He listens, understands, and comes up with the best way to handle/treat the issue. He takes his job seriously, while having fun and making his patients feel comfortable.

This Dr is washed up and only cares about money to retire which he needs to... Be careful of you choose this Dr... He loves his Mercedes and he'll tell you all about it in the visit or his favorite sports team but not your Health!
