List of Sally A Newbrough Md's Reviews
Brought my daughter in to do testing to see if foods, smells etc were causing her migraines. Sally walked in with an article. I wasted my time telling her our back story and all the things we have done with elimination diets. She told me from the literature she is giving me that she is discouraged from doing any testing. She walked in with no intent to treat or help my child. She suggested keto diet for my 10 year old but sounded wary about even suggesting that.
Dr. Newbrough is a fantastic doctor. She has always come through for me with great attention to detail; a caring approach; and effective treatments. I am not a simple patient and Dr. Newbrough has always provided thorough and cutting edge medical care.
Very cold and not helpful in any way. I agree with other review…this woman should NOT BE A DOCTOR. She wrote in notes from my visit that I “Exaggerated” symptoms which I did not. Made it sound like I’m some attention seeking hypochondriac in her notes, which are now a permanent part of my medical records. She never gave me a referral for where to go next and her exact words as I left her office where “Good Luck”. Here we are 5 months later and I was just diagnosed with CANCER! Would have been nice if she had treated me with SOME respect and actually TRIED to help me…maybe I would of gotten my diagnosis a few months earlier…. instead I continued to suffer alone. I do not recommend her unless you’re completely okay with being treated like you don’t matter.
Dr Newbrough helped us get through my daughter's childhood asthma without difficulty. She was kind and thorough. So when my PCP couldn't help me anymore with my escalating asthma issues I requested a referral to Dr. Newbrough. I appreciated that she took so much time with me when I couldn't get my breathing under control and really needed her help. I highly recommend her for asthma needs.
I have HAE type III, a rare illness that causes my throat to close up, ( I now have a trach which leaves me terribly uncomfortable. Newbrough stands across the room looking like a dear caught in the headlights. I understand this is not an illness she is knowledgeable but there are only two other doc.'s in Washington, (I have seen both numerous times). I am unable to travel to Federal Heights or Tacoma. So Newbrough has me on the newest super duper infusion. I would have wished for death but I promised my husband to fight on I have been intubated & in ICU to the point I have lost count. The trach had managed to keep me alive this far. Eventually the illness will go below the trach & death is inevitable. Saw Newbough last week, my mouth some what swollen but I never leave home so anxiety over a visit to the doctor is the perfect storm for an attack. She looks at me while I explain it's so much better since I started the newest infusion. This dumb a#$ says (she feels bad for me). WTlf

Should have never became a doctor.
Having never been to an Allergist or Immunologist, I had no idea what to expect. But I have to say, Dr. Newbrough and her Staff have set the bar pretty high. Everyone was friendly, professional and quite prompt as well. All of my questions were answered and in a manner I could easily understand. Dr. Newbrough jumped in with both feet to my somewhat convoluted history and ordered many tests my other Doctor's had never considered. SO glad I was referred to her!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
