I was so very happy that my general practitioner recommended Doctor Tammy Starr. At my first appointment, I only waited about 3 minutes to be seen. Dr. Starr took time to listen to my issues and she explained my options in detail. She answered all my questions and I never felt rushed. I felt very comfortable with her and with her friendly staff. One month later, Dr.Starr performed surgery on me and the scheduling went smooth and the instructions I received from her staff prior to surgery were very clear. Thank God that Dr. Starr is very knowledgeable in her profession. The surgery went very well, with Dr. Starr again going over the procedure with my husband and I during pre-op and she met with my husband after the surgery and took the time to explain everything to him. The very next morning, Dr. Starr came in to check on me before 8:00am to make sure I was doing good. Later, she and her staff followed up with a cute little "get well" card. One week after surgery, I had a question for her and called her office. Her nurse was very quick to consult with Dr. Starr and I received a call back within one hour. Overall, my experience with Dr. Starr and her entire staff was wonderful. They were all very friendly and professional and I would highly recommend Dr. Starr to every woman I know.

Fantastic Doctor. On my first appointment she not only was up to date on my medical history, but had many well established insights/ideas regarding my medical issues. She was very well prepared, had an excellent bedside manner, was extremely compassionate and understanding, and despite my poor decisions, i never felt judged by her. She also took the time to answer any questions I had and even took the time to get to know me on a personal level. I felt like I was in good hands and I felt safe sharing details of my personal life with her without any fear of judgement or criticism. Dr. Starr seems like she truly cares about her patients on a personal level as well as on a medical level. I really enjoyed both meeting her and working with her as she offers comprehensive medical care.

I came to Tammy because I was having issures with my period and to start with she was an hour late to my appt. Then when I explained to her my problems, she was quick to tell me to take birth control and then wanted to be off. She didn't look at my medical history.... wich pertained to my current problem, she didn't take any tests and she really didn't offer any sort of diagnosis. Really, it seemed that She didn't care. She even went as far as to tell me that my problem wasn't as bad as some peoples....... Really? To me it was and I'd really appreciate a doctor that took longer than 10 minutes to decide that my concerns were or were not valid. I will not ever be returning to her again.
