The Everett Clinic At Bellingham's Online Review Report Card

After waiting 23 minutes 8 seconds on hold, told no appointment with Dr Sharef available for 46 days. Offered no alternative. Unacceptable level of service

Don't Bother! You'll either get better or die before you can be seen in person by a local doctor. Associates in family Medicine was great, the doctors and staff were great. But Everett Clinic is Garbage. I feel sorry for the people that work there and have to deal with these changes. After 30 years, I have to find a new doctor. They no longer serve our community.

My family has been going to this clinic for well over 25 years and this was probably my last visit. Today I had to switch to a new GP as mine is retiring and scheduled out for 6 months from now. I was discussing a a medical issue that has been ongoing and asked for next steps if the current option doesn't work. Was told I don't know, have a nice day. I am not paying for I don't knows, I am paying for plans and action. This conveyor belt of an office is a far cry from what it was before Everett Clinic bought it.

A year later now, things have not changed with these guys. No availability for a week or so when you have a pressing issue. Not acceptable! It took 20 minutes on hold to get through today, just to be told no openings until next week, 9 days to see my doctor. I had to go to Urgent Care two weeks ago when again it was a week for an appointment with them. Since Everett Clinic took over Associates of Family Medicine, in my opinion things have really gone done hill. No more reminder calls for annual exams, and no openings for a week, as of mid March.

There is absolutely NO reason for a referral to take over a month to be sent to a specialist!!! Referred to a doctor on 01/19/2023, as of today 02/28/2023 they have not received the referral. Another referral on 02/07/2023 and they still do not have it. WHY am I waiting 3 to 4 WEEKS to have a referral sent?! This is unconscionable and is absolutely unacceptable.

Update: Great experience again today. 3/13/2023 I continue to be pleased with the positive direction the clinic seems to be heading in but of course this is made easier for the organization by employing physicians like Dr. Sharf whose broad knowledge, humility, and bedside manner make each interaction pleasurable and informative... I have been a patient since before they became the Everett clinic and must say they are improving. They have always had good people just need to continue to make the act of using their services more user friendly. Dr Sharf is great. Brash to the point and a true diagnostician. Found skin cancer on my wife's ear somehow at routine appointment. If that isn't attention to detail what is? So grateful!

I’ve been a patient with Associates in Family Medicine (now Everett Clinic) for at least 15 years. It use to be easy to get into my doc within a reasonable amount of time. Reception, easy to reach, overall good experience. Now I call and someone in another town answers. Today it took awhile to find my physician in the system. She hadn’t done many appointments for Bellingham, she said. So I can’t even call the local reception desk anymore!? I’ve had nothing but frustration and confusing interactions since the takeover. At least a month to get into my doctor now. No longer personable. I feel like a health insurance number, not a person. There are great doctors here, bad management policy ruining this office. Update: IM LEAVING. Everett Clinic bought out Associates In Family Medicine and things drastically changed. After 20+ yrs with Dr. Patterson he retired, Aug 2022. The clinic promised & said "hang tight", "not to worry we're getting you another dr." Now they say we "haven't hired a new doctor yet." In the meantime, I've run out of meds and I'm given a Nurse Practitioner and every month the N.P. refuses to refill my medication I've taken faithfully for years. Why so rude and cold? Why don't they care anymore about their patients? -------------5 Stars---------- Dr. Brian Patterson is amazing. He has been my doctor for years. Dr. Patterson is very knowledgeable. At each office visit he gives his full attention to all my needs and addresses my concerns. Dr. Patterson nurses are very attentive, polite, and courteous.

Have been going to Associates in family medicine for awhile and love my doctor and his team. Ever since the Everett Clinic has taken over, it’s so bad. You call, your on hold a hour, you say morning you must be busy today and they hang up on you.. So you call back and wait a hour again just to get an appt. You call for medication refills, I’ve called three times now in the last 10 days, no call backs, you call and ask to speak to a nurse, no call back. You call to make an appt and now it goes to a call center, the lady had poor english, asked to make an appointment with Dr Sperry, and she said who, i repeated his name twice and then she asks me what department is he in. I would always get them right away on the phone, get calls back every day, I could get squeezed in if needed, now it’s at least 7 weeks. The Everett Clinic has completely destroyed this office. I feel terrible for the doctors and the staff that they still have.

Twice my 73 year old mother had complained about this Office and this doctor. But yesterday they let her sit there for 4 hours and she still didn't see the her physician?.... what kind of place does this. To let a 73yr old lady sit for hours only to be let down confused and frustrated. Proof that it's not about care, just that almighty dollar. This physician should retire or should've already retired. My mother left with no prescription or answers. I'm sure we'll be talking to a lawyer about this.
