Julie Komarow's Online Review Report Card

Saw Dr. Komarow back in 2013 and it was the worst experience of my life. I had recently moved to Bonney Lake and was looking for a good family doctor. She proceeded to make baseless diagnoses and by the end of my visit she tried to change my rountie meds and added 9 new meds. Of course I never went back and found a amazing doctor that truly knows what he is talking about and treats me with respect. We have a doctor patient relationship where I am able to have a say in my care. This was definitely NOT the experience with Komarow. Highly DO NOT recommend her.

She’s the best doctor I’ve ever had! She’s kind, compassionate, attentive and direct. I’ve been her patient for almost 15 years. Every time I visit her, I walk away with sound advice and recommendations. I leave feeling heard and valued. It will be a sad day when she retires. I highly recommend her to anyone.

“Dr.” Komarow saw my wife recently and aside from not only managing to avoid helping her with any other issues she made the appointment for, she also managed to insult, diminish, and preach about a variety of topics that had no reason being discussed. She accused my wife of being sexually assaulted on multiple occasions (false), being lazy with her own self-care (false), ruining our marriage (false) and a variety of other incredibly unprofessional and holier-than-thou mischaracterizations . If you feel like being shamed and belittled by a someone shouting down at you how you should be living your life before cutting an appointment short, by all means, see “Dr.” Komarow.

She is the rudest, most unhelpful Dr I've ever met. She messed with my chart when I came to ask for a Dr note. She took me off important meds and prescribed all new. Belittled me, accused me of being lazy and ruining my marriage, as well as suggesting I was sexually assaulted as a child which is why I'm a mess (her words). I have never been stuck in a room with a professional and felt like I was in trouble and needed to take a beating. Very emotionally abusive. Do not see her unless you need an emotional beating. Again, her words, not mine.

Would not recommend.

I love Sound Family Medicine. Every provider I've seen, until today has been kind, welcoming and knowledgable. Unfortunately, my teen daughter and I did not have a positive experience with this provider.

Treated my mother in law horrible. Very demeaning, and has an attitude towards her patients.

Dr. Julie Komarow MD sucks! Feels free to waste a patient's time! Treated her patient badly! Talked about her patient outside of her room. Awful old bitty. Too bad you cannot leave fewer than 1 star! She treats patients so badly, she has openings on her schedule, Do not let them schedule you with her!

Dr Komarow is the best Dr I've ever found. The first doctor to not make me feel rushed during my appointment. She spends quality time with me and my family at every appointment. She genuinely cares about her patients and it shows! I'm only sad I didn't find her so many years ago. Sometimes you may have to wait for a while to be seen but that is ONLY because she is spending that needed, quality time with her other patients, so it is very worth it! For a while I didn't have insurance that covered this office, but I paid out of pocket just so I wouldn't lose her.Her and her staff have a way of making you feel like a valued friend.I can't believe there are any negative reviews. She's a real gem :)
