She was the pediatrician we didn’t ask for during our hospital stay at SJOG Mt Lawley when my son was born. She literally spent less than 5 minutes checking up my new born son, while picking up calls from her mobile during the rounds. When I asked her questions about breastfeeding, I know its not her speciality, but she literally answered “I don’t know”. Today we got an invoice from her clinic charging us $300. Worst doctor I have ever met!!!

I have been a patient of Dr Chawla for several years. Dr Chawla has always been professional, courteous and complete in diagnosing and planning treatment for my health care. Dr Chawla won't force treatment on a patient as some doctors do. Her style is more diagnose, inform and work with the patient to come up with a plan. I like her, trust her and will continue to see her.

I did not have a positive experience with Dr. Chawla. During my check-up she acted like she would rather be anywhere else. When asked for advice on choosing an IUD her response was simply It's up to you. You can read the pamphlets. It doesn't matter to me. Then she simply left the room without even say goodbye or that we were finished. The nurse came in & asked what IUD she should order. I didn't have a chance to read any brochures so I just picked one. I have not gone back to see Dr. Chawla.
