Really bad experience with her!
We have been with Dr, Lampe since our son was born and we are very happy. She is energetic, she helps us in all possible ways and has been more than a Dr in difficult times when our son is sick, when we are tired and she can notice in our faces and give us support words (sometimes is all you need to know, that you are doing your best to raise a good human). We appreciate all your work and dedication. One day I was sick and she even took a look at me and gave me some indication to go to a doctor! She is just amazing.
Dr, Lampe is our primary care giver. She is very nice and good person. someone to whom my daughter always feels comfortable My only complain to he is she was unable to treat my daughters chronic cough issues. She referred us to one of the earths most inefficient doctor at Northwest allergey center to WEISS, MICHAEL E. who unnecessary put my 3.5 years old under streroids even without evaluating what is the root cause of the cough. More importantly that doctor didn't even tell us he is prescribing steroids! Needless to day that medicine did not work and my 4 years old was unnecessary given steroid inhealer. I personally believe any kid can not be an object for research and development of other doctors. So they should be put under serious medication only when that is required. Dr. Lampe should frist sent us to ENT first or to some reputed allergist. The bottom line is we cant trust the doctors blindly and need to do our research in details as we are finally responsible for our kids health.
My child has been a patient here on both private insurance and the SCHIP. In my opinion we received better care when under private insurance: ~ One weekend I had to call in, and the person who answered the phone said my child should be seen that day but they were too busy so we should go to Children's Hospital. I had to drive by the office on the way to Children's, and the parking lot was nearly empty (even for a weekend - they have office hours 7 days a week). I suspect we would have been seen that day if we still had private insurance. ~ Since going on the SCHIP, it seems we are no longer able to get early morning appointments - everything now is 10 a.m. or later. ~ It also seems the doctor visits got shorter once we went on the SCHIP - now they seem to be 10-15 minutes at most, even for an annual exam. Dr. Lampe is nice enough, but always seems rushed and I feel as though the exams aren't as thorough and she is really not listening well as she needs to get to the next patient.
So freindly remembers details about previous visits. She is the best pediatrician out there!
Staff: Got scared if she was going to check my son!! She had such long sharp nails! Although, Dr.Ellen has a very pleasing personality and you will immediately like her because of her friendly nature and the way she interacts with your baby.
Myson had a birth defect at birth that was obvious, we pointed it out to her, and she still blew it off until he was much older. We now need to have surgery to fix it. Very upset with her knowledge, poor education.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
