Sea Mar Burien Dental Clinic's Online Review Report Card

Sea Mar needs to be sued and shut down for discriminatory and unsafe practices against non white non latino patients. They will wait on whites/latinos hand and foot, and treat everyone else like garbage; I've been not given enough numbing agents, I got drilled and could feel EVERYTHING. They will destroy your teeth, gums and mouth, without remorse and leave you bloody. In general they are all extremely disrespectful. I regret ever coming here as it's lead to not only ruining my dental health but it's caused me to be severely traumatized. I'm getting legal counsel over this.

This is a warning, do not use this office. We went in I brought my 6-year-old son for a cleaning. When I presented them my insurance they made no attempt to tell me that I was out of network. Since it was his first time the dentist suggested x-rays. My son I just fallen out of a tree and hurt his lip a few days before. They told me that they didn't want to do a normal cleaning because they were worried it would hurt his lip. They however had no issues throughout any of the x-ray process with him having pain due to his lip. They never did a real cleaning on any of his teeth. They did show him how to use a toothbrush on his own briefly. Skip to a few weeks later and I've received a bill finding out one that I am out of network so my insurance won't cover the full rate. To their itemized receipt included all of the possible types of x-rays listed out rather than a single x-ray as they would normally do at most dentist office. It also included charges for cleaning dental exam fluoride treatment another items totaling thousands of dollars billed to my insurance. My individual contribution was $256, for a children's dental exam and cleaning. There is a time in my life where I didn't have insurance and I've paid out of pocket for a dental exam and cleaning and it never came to $256. I can't believe how bad this place has ripped me off. I have called several times with my insurance on the line finances that all these charges are justified and that the cleaning that they've charged me for is them showing my son how to brush his teeth. I want someone to take these criminals to court. They are disgusting group of humans and should not be allowed to continue to do business.

I believe the staff now is extremely respectful, caring, and professional. They follow the COVID protocols excellently, and although being short staff which ive noticed, always trying to satisfy the clients. Every single one of these workers in this office deserves recognition. It is a community clinic with reasonable prices. Anyone who says different is crazy, Such a great place! Thank you.

It was very useless and hopeless experience my wife got from here she went on march 18th and they look at her tooth and just gave a appointment in july and my wife was in pain whole of that time.hope i can guve zero stars i will..

Had an appointment at 3pm for a filing. Dr fan which is a female came in and screaming that she can t do the filing. She advise to extract one of the tooth. Dr FAN start to numb me at 3:10pm then she left. I waited til 3:35pm. She s still not back. I finaly walk out. I had been here for 3yrs. The other doctor was perfectly fine til this Mrs Fan show up. Waited for 25mins and still in her office. What a joke!!!

Very helpful and polite staff, doctor friendly and efficient.

These ladies are attentive and helpful in English or in Spanish.

The doctor doesnt really know what hes talking about at times (I know this because i have a private practice dentist who gave me the information i sought, i only came here as a walk-in). He kept talking in circles and indirectly answering my questions. Staff was very quiet and timid, i know many are students but it didnt give me confidence in their abilities. Most of the surgeries are done while the client is still awake using lidocaine. It did seem clean but a little cluttered. Would rather wait and see my dentist but in a pinch its acceptable.
