So I went in for a procedure yesterday with Dr pinkering. He and his staff were very friendly and I appreciated what he did for me. He told me everything that was going to happen and I'm much better today than I've been in months and months. I would highly recommend him for anything and that he does and his staff were wonderful. I loved Elaine who was at the front desk and scheduled the appointment for me in the first place. She's a real sweet lady and she understood my needs.

Came in with a family member. The front desk gals were so nice and caring. On the other hand the RN Lee Ann is the most rudest person I have ever met. Lee Ann came out to waiting room ask 1 question then stated "probably not much we can do for you". First off are you a doctor? Was my family member evaluated, "no"! Brought us back to the room to be seen, started asking questions. Her demeanor was definitely felt in the room. Then when she was asking my family member questions she is shy and has lots of anxiety so I was trying to help answer the questions and she told me to be quiet. Very out of line. I will never come back here. I really hope she doesn't treat people like this all the time. Working in this field requires you to be caring, compassionate, and understanding at times. Lee Ann definitely is not that person!!!!

I was born in this hospital. I was treated at this hospital as a child. I even worked here for a short period of time, and it breaks my heart that this hospital has become a shadow of what they once were. The care here at the ER is truly shameful, and really can not even be called care. The ER staff blatantly lies to patients and their advocates, refuses to provide adequate treatment, and truly gives the impression that they could care less whether patients live or die. I am sure there are clinicians here who genuinely care about their patients, but my past experiences here have not yielded any. Recently when taking my in father for some oxygen concerns he was sequestered from his son, lied to, and sent home with no treatment. No IV , no oxygen, no follow up. Just go home and die, or don't we don't care. I know the COVID pandemic has created ever evolving rules and changes in the health care system but there is a point where that just becomes and excuse not to treat people like humans. I sincerely hope the ER can get better, and become a place I would be willing to take a loved one to if they were in need of care.

Save yourself a copay, unless your absolutely have to go.Labor Day weekend we took my daughter to the ER due to a ATV rollover with possible broken arm and a puncture wound to her arm.9:30 pm They took her vitals, unwrapped her arm (triaged by a firefighter), gave her a pain meds and nausea shot, then sent her for a X-ray.The tech came back with her a luckily it wasn't broken, we has to ask the nurse to secure the gauze pad since she was bleeding on the pillow her arm was propped up on.10pm another shot for painAfter that we were lucky if anyone even cared. No nurse came to check in on her, didn't even bother cleaning the wound (which had dirt all over it). I went out 3 times to ask for pain meds throughout the night and the attitude I was met with was astounding, I was polite I didn't yell or get mad.Finally 4 am she received a other shot for pain and they informed us it was a deep puncture wound and they were sending us to Sacret Heart in Spokane.When we go to Spokane the Er nurse and doc were shocked she didn't receive any wound care. Total fail on Mt Carmel's part, yes they had Covid patients and yes they got really busy through out the night. IMO if they would have addressed what was going on with my daughter and dealt with the X-ray right away, we could have freed up a bed. Their ER management need serious review.

Watch your billing like a hawk if you have to go here. I prepaid to save some money from my insurance account and then they billed my insurance anyway, and then fed me the line that even though my insurance claim said “paid” it didn’t mean they had been paid. Turns out that was a lie. If you have a choice go somewhere else.

I had a surgery done here & the staff were amazingly nice & caring.My visit was extremely comfortable!

If you are a parent and need to go to this hospital, save yourself the time and just die at home. They will not allow you in with a child, for any reason. zero covid symptoms and masked but still denied entry.

Constantly changing policies without informing the public then denying a person medical care because a young child was with them. Was denied entry and care then informed it was because I had my child with me. ??? I was told if my child needed the blood draw we both could come in, but because I needed the blood draw we couldn't come in. We were both masked and have zero covid symptoms but were still denied medical care.

Not parent friendly….will not accommodate parents with children no exceptions. No babysitter, than you can forget your own medical needs. Because they (especially Becky) do not care about you or why you may have had to bring one of your children in with you.

I quess I can't write a book like I wanted to, but I want to share with everyone who reads. This is the best hospital I have ever been in.The staff, and nurses were the best. It makes me emotional. They were awesome. Thank you, to them .
