Have had wonderful results with this doctor and in my book he is an absolutely wonderful doctor compassionate and caring
Dr. Lawson was one of the rudest doctors I have ever been to. I have been trying to recover and find a diagnosis for a reoccurring issue for the last 9 months and was recommended to visit his office for pain help. He continuously pushed medication even after I declined it several times. I have tried the use of many medications and they have not alleviated symptoms and I am not interested in becoming dependent of them from repetitive use being that I am young. During the exam, he answered his phone call in the middle of me talking and just walked away after holding his finger up to me and didn't come back for another 10 minutes. When he did, he asked me if I had back pain and then said "well I don't know, if you want I could order a CT but that could take months here and I don't know what it would show". I have never been so appalled by the presentation of his actions and how rude he was. I am in the medical field and work with doctors daily, I understand how busy they are and things that are urgent, but treating a patient as though you don't care and are not interested in trying to help is not okay and I will never step foot into his office again.
I have had three surgeries with this man and plenty of after care. I am so happy he has returned to Michigan. I walk because of this man. He saved my life.
He tells you that you will be cared for ?After surgery a brief appearance, Doesn't call to see how your doing? All I can say is don't trust what he says?Get second opinion before trusting him?
at 5 pm, the head nurse tells me that my wait would be another 3 more hours. I stopped eating at midnight, and only sipping water to moisten my mouth. The lady before me, gave complication. He started working on her at 9 am and it was only a 4 hour surgery. Her family was worried it was taking so long, no one told them anything. So, they said I would have surgery at 8pm, with a surgeon that was probaby tired and a bit frustrated! No thank you. I am supposed to have spinal surgery right under my tailbone, so, I would like a doctor fresh in the early morning, after he has his coffee, and is not tired or frustrated. So that poor woman was worked on for approx 11 hours, geez, all day almost. No wonder the family was asking questions
Dr Lawson is superior! Great office consultation, he took the time to explain the procedure. Surgery went very well! Doing 100% better! Would recommend Dr Lawson, great doctor!
Excellent!!
Very happy!!
Nearly impossible to contact, rarely returns phone calls, spent a total of three minutes with me after surgery (including follow-up visits, which he passed off to a nurse), in need of a new doctor after the lousy service. Back is just as bad now as it was pre-surgery. Felt like I was just $$$ to him, like a meat market. I would never refer anybody to his office. Look elsewhere.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
