I love Dr. Pool. Don't let the basement setup deter you. He's got super good equipment, including a fancy machine that you can use rather than getting your eyes dilated. He runs everything himself, so there's never info lost in a handoff between optometrist and assistant. Dr. Pool has a no-rush mindset, so you'll really feel like you're being taken care of. He's always answered my questions thoughtfully and nailed my prescriptions. It feels like you're uncovering a mystery together rather than being pressured to quickly detect subtle differences. He can write prescriptions for glasses and contacts, and you can order contacts through his office. He doesn't sell glasses, which is actually great, since the Luxottica monopoly that most eye doctors push is a scam. There are so many great places to order your glasses online, or you can take your prescription into another eye glasses shop later.

Would absolutely recommend Dr Tony Pool to anyone

I just had my first appointment with Dr. Pool today. I was a little early, but he started my exam right away. He was kind, thorough, gentle, and very knowledgeable. I can see why he’s rated so highly. I’m so happy to have found him!

Dr. Pool is both professional and compassionate. He takes his time with his patients but is efficient. He has a calm demeanor making you feel comfortable as soon as you enter his office. He is confident in his knowledge and skill. I would recommend him to everyone.

I saw Dr. Tran and had a wonderful experience. She was very personable, kind, clean, and thorough. I was also given a few more trial lenses when my contacts ended up arriving a little later than planned. Very wonderful people! Highly recommend!

Dr. Pool is a professional, careful, and patient OD who takes the time to make sure to get your prescription right. There was no wait, the office is clean, and Dr. Pool took great care to make sure everything was safe and sanitary during the pandemic. I've moved around a lot and had several ODs, and Dr. Pool is one of the very best.

I saw Dr. Tran at this location and she was amazing! I needed a special exam for my FAA medical certificate and she knew exactly what to do. I also happened to be pregnant which made the long exam difficult to get through, but she made me feel comfortable and was very kind not rushing me. I will be recommending her and this office to others!

Tony D Pool OD. was great during COVID-19. He washes his hands before beginning the eye exam. I was able to keep my mask on throughout the entire exam, without any issues. He’s professional, efficient, & easy to talk to. Highly recommend!

Dr. Pool is fantastic. I had my first appointment with him just recently, and felt completely comfortable and safe given COVID, his office is small and takes one patient at a time.I thought Dr. Pool did an amazing, thorough eye exam and had a wonderful, caring and gentle bedside manner. I had my first visit today with Dr Pool and it was excellent. His office setup is very COVID focused and cared for and I appreciate the effort to do so a great deal. I found him to be incredibly pleasant, knowledgeable, and kind - it is very obvious that he knows what he is doing and enjoys it. He took time to explain things to me and really work on figuring out what my visions needs are. I previously had a very negative experience with another doctor and this was such a complete opposite that it left me amazed that both provide the same basic service, it was just so different. I will absolutely want to continue working with Dr Pool and I would recommend him highly to anyone looking for an OD!
