Very kind and empathetic doctor, which means a lot. Unfortunately, he doesn't seem to know a lot about pituitary disorders and wasn't interested in investigating my issues further (IAnother doctor later found microadenomas on my pituitary gland.) He was very nice and I really wish I could have worked with him, as it's a pain to have to work with an out-of-state specialist but unfortunately Dr. Wong wasn't willing to look outside of the box when it came to evaluating my symptoms. He would be great for more basic/straightofward issues - other patients I've talked to with pituitary disorders had a good experience with him.

I went to Dr. Wong when a doctor at the walk-in clinic noticed a rather large lump in my neck while assessing my 5-week long cough. Dr. Wong found the thyroid cancer and referred me for my surgery, but has been my endocrinologist ever since. He has provided great care and his staff is fantastic. He's always upfront with me and honest and has been a wonderful doctor. I highly recommend him.

This is a very qualified Dr. who only sees patients once then hands you over to assistant staff. The nurse I saw was lacking in knowledge and it was an overall nightmare in getting through.

Dr. Wong hurt me. I ended up in hospital because he put me on levothyroxine. I also lost my job, was fired because of all the problems I had with thyroid issues.

He does not care about your health.

He is arrogant and rude. Makes you feel stupid and does not answer all of your questions. I only saw him once, after that he told me that the nurse practitioners who would take care of my diabetes would handle my thyroid!?? I have to go back and forth between the two to take care of my thyroid. They don't communicate with each other in a timely manner to provide care for my thyroid. Terrible patient care. I don't recommend him at all.

I've worked as a primary care physician for 6 years in Everett, Ive had a substantial panel of patients and when I needed an endocrinologist specialist, Ive always had excellent support from Dr.Wong. One of the obstacles sometimes I have, caring for my patients, is having good specialists who communicate well, receptive, and able to address my concerns for my patient when I have them. Dr.Wong remains forever approachable, he does not turn away the simplest case nor the most complex of cases. He is always well-read and able to engage on open discussions regarding alternative treatments that serve my patients goals and beliefs. I highly recommend him to any patient who is seeking an honest and direct approach to their individualized endocrinology care. One of my favorite things about working with him is that he treats each case with equal thought and care as it was his family. I am very picky on who I refer my patients to and I definitely have Dr.Wong on my preferred provider list.

Dr. Wong listens and always has the latest research to share when discussing care. My thyroid has finally stabilized with his care. He advocates eating a Mediterranean diet, again based on clinical research. I think of him as a partner in my care.

Very arrogant and cocky poor bedside manner. He wasn’t thorough in his intern medicine. He walked in the door saying I thought we’re seeing you for hypo thyroid and I said you are?

Place is fine but care is stuck in the past. Treating type 2 diabetes with drugs is not going to work and is bad for your health.seems like there is too much reliance on some predetermined way of treatment . I have had to search out new docs. Treating diabetes is complicated so an endocrinologist should be prepared to go deep and explain multiple ideas not just the usual quick visit and out.
