Ali Anissipour's Online Review Report Card

After 30 years of back pain, and every treatment available, I went to Dr. Anissipour for a second opinion and I am so glad I did. He performed spinal fusion in 3 vertebrae and dealt with 2 areas of stenosis in my spine. I have been virtually pain free since the surgery - a complete success. I'm able to do things I haven't been able to do in years. Not only is he an excellent surgeon, he is genuine in his care for his patients. I recommended my son-in-law who injured his back and after surgery, he had the same results - pain free. Thank you Dr. Anissipour!

He lied to me that I had fused, even put it in my medical record. How he could tell without a CT ,I do not know all he ever did was follow up X-rays. But I didn't. Had to have a repair surgery and have the contraption he put in deeply dug out of my neck.

I have had low back problems for 40 years from over use and to much heavy lifting and that had created a few different issues. I had my first surgery in 2015 by Dr. Roe to relive pinched nerves exiting the low back spine both sides at S1 to L4 vertebra and it helped to some degree. In 2018 Dr. Anissipour found that the two lower disc were getting squashed and the spinal cord was getting pinched and did a laminectomy and remedial work at previous surgery to clean up around nerves exiting the spine, this gave a good amount of relief but the main nerve pain returned 9 month later. In 2019 Dr. Anissipour found that my spine at L4-L5 was moving forward causing nerve compression and performed my third surgery in December 2020 and fused S1-L5-L4 and after three months of physical therapy for the first time in 10 years I'm almost completely free of nerve pain and it gets better each day. I believe this will 100% successful with more time. I want to thank Dr. Anissipour for helping me get back

I met with him yesterday for terrible neck pain that radiates down to my fingers. Before I even spoke with him I was x-rayed, I had met with a physiatrist at the same office two years ago and had a neck only MRI which showed mild degeneration she said I have kyphosis. A rheumatologist at WWMed told me last year I had hypermobile Ehlers Danlos, scoliosis and thoracic outlet syndrome. I asked for another MRI. He said nothing would have changed in a year, it has been almost 2. I admittedly was in the middle of a family crisis and I was upset but I did pay for the appointment and I felt dismissed. He made up his mind before he came in the exam room that there is nothing wrong with me. My pain says otherwise. He never even examined me. Just a 2 year old MRI. I am so frustrated. It was a waste of time and money. Medicine is really a racket sometimes.

Dr Alireza K. Anissipour whole staff, Hospitals associated to him, in the journey of a Spinal surgery IS UNIQUE in the most wonderful way. My experienced was the best from the very beginning. He is FULLY attentive to his clients , takes everything into consideration, extremetely helpful and understanding. good sense of humor, humble, your best advocate. He is SO SKILLFUL that patients should just pray / relax and let Dr Anissipour and his staff to do the rest. My surgery was at Providence Hospital in the midst of Covid 19. This had a historical meaning for me since my pain was worse than ever in the worse world conditions to a virus spread, along with me not being able to walk propertly at times with weakness to my exteremities. There are no meaninful enough words to SAY THANK YOU! For helping me. For Bringing me back to the life I see and not the life I was. Great result from my spine surgery. Exceeded all my expectations. I got my life back. Thank you.

Just had my 6 month follow up with Dr. Anissipour today. Did flex and ext xrays then do shows me the progress. My L5S1 fusion is healing well. Union is forming as in bridgeing. Will see doc again in 6 months. It was nice to stand in front of doc while he was sitting this time without issues. I enjoy my balance being equal on both feet and that I am off pain meds. I lost some weight too and will need to keep that up. I’m grateful for I got my life back. After dealing with back pain for 5 years it got to where I could not walk or stand anymore. I gave up on many activities in life at that point. Now I’m doing my best to get back into it. And I am left with two small incisions on my lower back one under my abdomen. Modern day medicine OLLIF sure is amazing.

Great surgeon. Got my life back after L5 S1 fusion. I have control of my right leg again. I can walk stand and off pain meds. 5 months out still got work to do as loose more weight. So far all is great.
