We had a one week follow up appointment with the nurse practitioner to check my newborns birthweight. The nurse incorrectly weighed her twice with a discrepancy of 8 ounces between both weights, when she conferred with Dr. Rodriguez, she did not even bother to come in and see my daughter. She instantly said that my daughter needed to be admitted and seen in the clinic. As a doctor her first priority should be the health of her patients. While she is not our regular doctor she is who was on call for the day. Instead of checking in personally and noticing the huge discrepancy in the weight that was taken, she dismissed us and made brand new parents absolutely terrified that their child was going to have to be admitted. Once sent down to the clinic my daughter was re-weighed by the doctor that we saw later and her weight was perfectly fine. I am so disappointed that Dr. Rodriguez would dismiss patients away she did us.

I saw Dr. Rodriguez because my PCP Dr. Powell was not able to see me. This doctor is GTEAT!! She listens and gives different options of what can be done. If you are looking for a great doctor that is going to make sure you are taken care of this is the doctor for you.
