List of Andrew Sohn's Reviews
I went to the doctor desperate for help. He was uncomfortableand uncaring of my pain and how badly it had started to affect my physical and mental health. He sent in MRI requests, to make me stop crying. But then his office sent the wrong insurance information to the imaging center. I had to wait a month for the imaging, in pain, to show up and have them tell me my insurance was sent wrong and I couldn't do it because I needed to have my case reviewed. They
He takes his time to discuss what’s going on. He is very matter of fact, but kind and understanding. I was surprised he went through everything on my bloodwork and explained it to me without making me feel dumb. I’m impressed!
The receptionist was talking on the phone and never acknowledged we were waiting to be checked in. After fifteen minutes of talking and laughing on the phone; she asked if we were waiting to check in. There weren't many chairs to wait in and a very crowded room; so we were standing at the counter. She finished her conversation and handed me a piece of paper and asked if I was paying my copay. Pretty unprofessional and rude. The office smelled like the plumbing was backed up. The Dr has no bed side manners and never really answered our questions. I will not be going back.
I really like Dr. Sohn. He is very easy to talk to and he explains things clearly. He has made me feel better about my situation and confident he will help me.
Dr. Sohn is very professional. Asks great questions; very sincere in his concern. Great follow up.
I have been a patient of Dr Sohn for about 6 years. He has always been very compassionate and listened to all my concerns. He explains all options for treatment thoroughly. He is very kind and has great bedside manner. I highly recommend him to anyone seeking a rheumatologist.
Dr. Sohn is a mystery to me. When I was referred to him by another physician, after a biopsy confirmed an autoimmune disorder, he was extremely kind, gracious and explained things very well. I saw him several times for this disorder, and was treated well each time. A few years later, I returned to him with another autoimmune disorder that was harder to diagnose. He seemed to not care, and I wondered if he thought I was making up the symptoms. His receptionist was not pleasant to deal with; this was hard to take, feeling as poorly as I did. The exam room seemed disorganized, with boxes of equipment randomly stacked on a cart; this contributed to my feeling that my care was an afterthought. After leaving Dr. Sohn, I found an excellent rheumatologist who promptly diagnosed me through imaging, lab tests and careful examination. I am now receiving correct treatment, feeling better, and being heard and believed. The difference is like night and day.
Dr Sohn takes the time to properly diagnose and spend time with his patients
Always in a rush. Condescending to patients. Office visit never more than 5-10mins but bills $200-$300. Is rude and abrupt.
He is not located here any longer. We were not informed of this and when we did find him on Hoyt, he refused to see us. Poor customer service!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
