Brett Schmitz's Online Review Report Card

I saw Dr Schmitz at Polyclinic Urgent Care. He listened to me, did a detailed review of my recent and past medical history, recommended appropriate tests and treatment. He listened and communicated well, didn't act rushed. Highly recommended

Dr. Schmitz was very helpful. He listened to me attentively, prescribed me medication and explained why that particular medication was his choice for my ailment.

Dr. Schmitz was incredibly condescending and seemed to spend more time explaining why I shouldn’t be there than attempting to resolve my issue. Kept telling me I could go to the hospital if I needed reassurance. The nurse who walked me into the office didn’t take any information and once she closed the door, got on the phone and made fun of me for a condition I had previously visited for. She referred to me as “condition guy” I won’t say specifically what condition. I had been on medical leave due to herniated discs compressing a nerve making it difficult to walk, leaving me with little sleep and a lot of pain, I try to justify the treatment with the area I’m in, telling myself maybe he gets a lot of people who fake their problems, but the reality is that sort of treatment is unacceptable and completely inappropriate regardless of the circumstances. I sent several reviews and emails and sadly this issue never got a response. I’m grateful for my primary care physician in another office, but it seems the Everett clinic doesn’t really care about how patients get treated. I hope he’s at least read this and learned something, maybe he’ll read it and laugh, I really don’t know, but at the least maybe I can save someone from feeling as defeated as I did when I left that clinic.

He was so rude and talked down to me the whole time. Made me feel like I shouldn't have gone to the doctors office, he told me when it's appropriate to see the doctor and when it's not. You know when something is wrong with your body.
