Catherine Yee's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Yee is amazing! I have had two back surgeries and am still in pain. I was referred to her by my surgeon. She is so genuine her care. She listens to everything I have to say, and sincerely seems concerned about my pain. I don’t feel like I am just being pushed to the side as I have by many other doctors. She always makes sure I don’t have any other questions before I leave the office. My daughter goes with me and has a lot of questions and Dr. Yee has no problem going over them with us to make sure we are comfortable with the outcome. I would definitely recommend her to anyone with severe back pain.

Dr. Yee is easy to talk to and seems very well versed in her specialty practice. She welcomes questions and comes up with a treatment plan that feels comfortable for the patient.

Let me start with saying that Dr. Yee is super friendly, sweet and polite. It was easy to make apt with her and she was easy to talk to. What my problem is, i saw Dr. Yee for extensive pain in my arms for which she did a simple physical exam, sent me to EMG and after finding nothing on EMG, and after I called to enquire about my next steps, she passed the message through the front desk employee, who told me that there is nothing Dr. Yee can do for me diagnostically, and that perhaps she can prescribe physical therapy to help with muscle weakness (which I don’t have). When i asked about how can she prescribe therapy without diagnosis, the front desk person didn’t have an answer. I asked to be contacted by the doctor, and was told the only way i can talk to her is if i schedule an appointment with her. I think the follow up of Dr. Yee is really bad and i cannot believe i was told nothing can be done diagnostically and i never had any imaging or really any other testing done. I will not be going back.

I have been with Dr. Yee for about a year now for my lower back/Sciatic nerve pain. Dr. Yee is amazing in my opinion. When I go into my visit, I believe that she truly cares about me and my well being. She works very hard to provide consistently exceptional care. I would highly recommend Dr. Yee to anyone with spine issues.

She likes to be extremely late to appointments, lacks empathy, doesn't wait to hear a response to her questions, she is NOT engaging, she likes to throw several questions at you but want to or wait for your answers. But the one thing you have to be aware of is YOUR tone... She doesn't respect anyone's time or personal expressions.

I was referred to Dr. Yee by my Family Doctor for lower back pain. And I am so thankful to have been introduced to her as she is a very good doctor with exceptional patient care skills. She truly listens to you and you walk out of your appointment feeling good instead of feeling like you are just another appointment on the schedule. Her recommendations for my lower back were perfect and after physical therapy and dedication to the exercises I can honestly say my back pain has decreased tremendously.

If you are looking for a doctor of Physiatry, you have found her! Dr. Catherine Yee is a very compassionate doctor who actually takes time with you and you know that you are her priorty at your visit. She doesn't rush through your appointment, you actually walk out of your appointment feeling cared for and understood. I am so thankful my primary care doctor referred me to her for my lower back pain.

My experience with Dr. Yee was highly satisfactory. I went to her with extreme lower back pain. She listened, was compassionate and very understanding. I appreciated her bedside manner which was excellent. She actually takes time with you and doesn't rush through your appointment.
