List of Christian Herter's Reviews
Christian is a fare weather doctor. If things are going well he can keep them that way, but if there’s a problem don’t expect him to solve it.
This guy is a quack. I have never been treated with such a lack of care in the overlake system. I wish I would have checked these ratings first and veered far from Christian. It was like he wasn’t listening to me. I made no progress under his care. I want an intelligent caring physician that is willing to solve problems and not such an arrogant failure of a doc.
This doctor is one of the very worst I have ever encountered. Unable to listen, he cuts you off to ask exactly what he was being told. He is such an arrogant jerk that it is simply not worth the time of anyone but those with absolutely zero ability to do anything for themselves. I would heartily suggest looking elsewhere, you can do much better even within OMC.
He really listens to your needs offers great advise and educate you without making you feel bad.
Dr Herter is an excellent physician. He is VERY thorough with sound judgement. He listens with interest and answers questions and addresses issues fully. As an RN for over 30 years I feel I have experience in evaluating medical care and Dr. Herter is right up there with the best. I feel so fortunate that when Dr. DeMoraes left he was replaced with someone equally talented.
Outstanding compassion and high intellect! Trustworthy! Highly credentialed !
Dr Herter reminds me of the doctors that took the time to listen, no he is not always on time but well worth the wait, his focus is on the patient at the time, not on how many he has to see in a day. Extremely well in type 1 and 2 diabetes. I was boarder line 2 and with his guidance I am no longer. He cares and listens to you. Best MD I could find in 2012!
I came to Dr. Herter after hearing from other diabetic patients what a wonderful Dr. he was. I was not disappointed. Dr. Herter is an excellent listener and seemed to treat me as an individual, instead of clumping me in with the "average type 1 diabetic."Dr. Herter devised a treatment program for me that reflected his genuine concern and excellent diagnostic skills. He helped me overcome a medical condition that had been plaguing me for several years. I would highly recommend Dr. Herter to any patient wanting "Patient Centered Care."when I first came to Virginia Mason, Lynnwood I thought their motto of Patient Centered Care was simply a promotional tool with no substance. I was wrong. From the moment I called to schedule my appointment to when I saw Dr. Herter I was proved wrong-all the way Dow the line
Dr. Herter was 30 minutes late to my appointment (and I could hear him just chatting in the room next door). When I described my problem, he didn't want to prescribe anything for me without consulting another physician in the practice and my OB (I'm pregnant). So, I left without a prescription and he never followed up with me or called my OB. My OB ended up prescribing me something to help. I left with the impression that he didn't care about the discomforts that go along with pregnancy and that he just thought I should live with my problem. I would have been fine if his recommendation was still not to do anything, if he had actually followed up as he said he would. I'm glad my regular GP and my OB are women!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
