List of Corina Nistor's Reviews
If I could give less stars I would. This is a dangerous individual with too much power for a doctor. 3 years later I'm still dealing with problems from a car accident and she gaslit me saying I'll be fine or I'll get over it. Please avoid her at all costs if you care for your well being. I basically have to start care over because she was as useful as a screen door in a submarine. UPDATE: followed isntructions from the response below, there is no “experience team” from my phone call so there’s another example of them pretending to care so a review reader doesn’t think they’re that bad.
in my case it was the opposite she told me you should be grateful for the help we already gave you, others are not even authorized to work hardening I will tell you this unofficially you should go to work and when you get hurt again you open another one claim with the other company. Later I asked for a referral for a second opinion with Dr. Leen, they denied it and closed the case.
She spends time with me, is very through, and answers any questions I have.
Would not recommend at all, she is uncaring and doesn’t take her patients seriously. I have never dealt with a doctor that lacked empathy and care as much as her.
I was referred to occupational medicine after I got a neck injury and a trapped nerve on the job and got Dr. Nistor. During the initial appointment she spent most of the time trying to downplay my pain and my injury, tried to say that I couldn’t have injured myself like this by lifting even though she didn’t know the context and questioned the first doctor’s diagnosis and his decision to keep me out ...
Worst Dr I've ever seen
Is not interesting in your past medical history or past medications that have worked for you. Will prescribe what she wants without regard to patient drug toleration. Won't listen.
Corina Nistor is a very uncaring physician who simply doesn't listen to her patients. Dismissed my concerns and didn't want to listen to my question. Insisted on prescribing an antibiotic I have had problems with in the past and wouldn't consider prescribing one I had good results from for the same condition.
I went in for advice on a 2nd degree burn, of which it was a pretty quick visit with Dr. Nistor giving me advice on over the counter remedies and helping with cleaning the burn, putting over the counter cream on it, and wrapping with standard gauze. It was a 15 minute interaction and a $30 copay at time of visit, of which there was no mention of additional charges. I then found out later that Dr. Nistor added "burn care" charges to the basic visit. Bear in mind that I only had to pay an additional $20, but expectations had not been set, and I found it ridiculous that her initial claim to the insurance company was $279 for the visit, and an additional $267 for the basic burn care. This is a prime example of what is wrong with our healthcare system by allowing doctors to throw out high anchor prices and then settling with insurance companies at still high final bill rates.
I would not recommend Dr. Nistor to anyone. She blatantly disregarded my wishes for certain blood tests that were not covered by my insurance and ran them anyway. I wound up with a $500+ bill because she chose to run tests for STD's that I did not want, nor need. I am a 25 year old married female with no risk for any STD's and was not showing any signs of any conditions. I simply requested a refill for monthly birth control as my husband and I are not ready to start thinking about a family yet. She believed that she knew what was best, and was determined a test would show something. She even accused my husband of sleeping around, saying, "You can never really know what they (men) are up to." I refused the tests, or at least I thought I did! About a month later I received results in the mail, (clean of course) along with a bill for $500. Dr. Nistor had no right to send this to the lab and should be held accountable. I was very disappointed with Dr. Nistor's professionalism and will never be seen by her again.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
