Dr. Derek Huang is a fantastic Neurologist. I have been going to him for quite sometime now (I believe over a year now) He listens and sincerely wants to make sure you understand your diagnosis as well as getting to the root of your symptoms. He is open to testing further if you are still experiencing symptoms. He explains things in a simple format so that one can understand doctor lingo. He will continue to see you until he is sure your symptoms are taken care of. On office revisits he will take time to check-in on the last 7 to 8 weeks to see how my symptoms have been doing. He is always open to discussing new thoughts I have had with my symptoms over those last few weeks, as well as, discussing his own thoughts on my symptoms. I have never been rushed or had the feeling of being rushed. I have never felt like I am a “numbers game” with him like I have with other clinic doctors. He runs on-time or is ahead in his appointments. He’s amazing! His MA Tony is just as great!

Dr Haung, Is for a new patient one of the nicest and thorough new Dr's I've yet to have. He has jumped right in on my scary symtoms that took me to a Neurologist. He is so caring even taking his time to call me on two different Occassions. Have not had a Dr. that actually called me himself for years and years, I would totally recommend this great young Doctor of the Brain.

Yeah, he's nice but he was dismissive of my concerns about my mother's neurocognitive issues. He was more interested in explaining away her symptoms and is loath to give a diagnosis of dementia. After extensive testing he finally had to admit she had a "dementia of sorts" but still maintains "she's okay". Thanks for the support there Doc!

Hes one of the best dr I have seen in a long time I finally got my answer after 2 yrs of dealing with my head issue I've seen so many dr's who had not a clue what was wrong and today I finally got great news and the answers I was looking for. I highly recommend him.

Visiting a Neurologist for the first time Sam be a scary experience for some people like myself. Dr Haung was extremely supportive and he took the time to calm any fears I had about my visit. I highly recommend him

He was very patient. Listened to all of my concerns. Spent a lot of time with me and accurately diagnosed me. I was very impressed with his level of competency and excellent bed side manner. This guy knows his stuff!
