Saw him twice for my broken ankle. Unfortunately I have had lots of bad experiences with medical providers over the years, so to come across a kind and empathetic doctor like Dr. Pepple is truly a breath of fresh air and I greatly appreciate him. My injury ended up needing surgery, and he was able to swiftly refer me to another (wonderful!) doctor in the same building who could complete my surgery in a timely manner (Dr. Pepple was, understandably, all booked up!) He also invited me to reach out in the case I had questions for him in the future. I have exactly zero complaints and am grateful for his compassionate care at a really rough time. I would not hesitate to refer anyone to him or to see him in the future if needed.
Both of our boys play sports and being active growing teenagers, have had several sports injuries through the years. Dr. Pepple is truly a kind, caring, excellent bed side manner - detective (and doctor!) He is extremely thorough and keeps digging until he gets the root of the issue. We would highly recommend Dr. Pepple as a top notch ortho provider!
I was in severe pain in back radiating to my knee. Dr.Pepples listened, was very pleasent, kind, good bed side mannor BUT he totally mis-diagnosed me. He focused on my knee pain only, xray was normal. Suggested PT. I slowly recovered only to flair again 2 months later. Went to different Orthopedic Dr. Diagnosis was herniated disc with nerve pain extending to my knee.
First orthopedist anywhere who doesn’t want to stick me with a steroid shot that lasts only a month, but can’t be repeated for 3 months because they’s baaad ! Steroids break down cartilage, and my knee pain is from broken down cartilage! Not enough to warrant knee replacement (already had one; other knee really abused for 70+ years because of scoliosis). So oral hyaluronic acid to help cartilage and synovial fluid. No worse after first visit with him in December 2019. That’s actual progress!
Dr.Pepple is kind and has pleasant bed side mannor BUT he mis-diagnosed my back pain with leg weakness, numbness, tingling and knee pain. Suggested I pinched a nerve in my knee and recommended PT. Two months latter, with a re-flare, and Orthopedic specialist diagnosisd herniated disc. Could have saved me a lot of pain, time, money and heart ache if I had been properly diagnosed the first time.
I can't believe a 4.5 review score! This doctor wouldn't even look me in the eye. He kept interrupting and didn't even examine the area afflicted. Once he heard I had an old back injury, he immediately said it was nerve damage and he quickly prescribed a large dose of gabapentin. I sought out a second, and more reliable, opinion. This was the most unprofessional doctor I've ever seen.
Terrific, very helpful ~ superb understanding of running injuries ~ highly recommend him
I really appreciated Dr. Pepples understanding of running injuries. I’ve been running for 50 years and he developed a great plan to help me deal with my arthritis. So I’d highly recommend him for runners. He knows his stuff
I saw Dr. Pepple for 8 mths following a severe concussion I received in a motor vehicle accident. He was kind, caring, a great listener and came highly recommended from numerous others seeing him for concussions. Rarely anymore do you feel like a Dr. takes the time to listen and then to honestly care. Dr. Pepple did.
From the beginning to the end of my appointment with Dr Pepple I felt I was in good hands for getting to the bottom of my knee injury. He explained the testing he performed on my legs in terms I understood. He was patient and thorough. He recommended a MRI and sought a second opinion on the results which identified a tear in the lateral meniscus. I'm grateful for his diligence and care.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
