He was easy to talk with.

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Russo. He treats you as a whole person truly caring about you and actually listens. I have met a few surgeons and he is the best by far. Also his nurse Kathy is just as great. They're just wonderful humans.The people I have met at the hand and surgery center are also great including the physical therapy dept. I highly recommend Dr.Russo. So refreshing to have caregivers who actually care.

I was treated by this doctor for a small finger fracture this year. He put me in splints for last 3 months and told not to move it. But my doctor changed after 3 months and the new doctor told me that I should have moved my fingers much earlier to flush out scar tissue and now that its too late. I cannot bend my finger 100% ever, due to scar tissues stuck in my joint. I am now in a physiotherapy, to gain atleast 80% bending which I can hardly bend 20% at this point. If I have to bend 100% I may need a surgery which could have been avoided if this doctor was knowledgable.

Caring surgeon who was increasingly helpful.

i saw dr. russo for a hand injury i had over the holiday and really respected his candor. we talked thru my next steps and he gave a very detailed breakdown of what i needed to do to help improve the mobility in my hand. i'd gladly recommend him for future patients. minor note: front office staff was a bit slow, but once i was called into my room everything went smoothly.

I wish all other doctors and their support staff had the professionalism, empathy and respect exhibited by Dr. Russo and his group. I’ve had a great experience with him as he is caring for my sons broken wrist. If you have any issues with any part of your arms do yourself a favor and see him!

I immediately knew I was in good hands when I met Dr. Russo. He's kind, knowledgeable, and gave me excellent care throughout the entire treatment process. I would send anyone his way that's in need of a hand specialist they can trust.

I really enjoyed my experience with Dr. Russo at his Tarzana office. He was very thoughtful, informative, and caring when helping me determine how to handle my wrist pain. I've already recommended him to a friend of mine who I'm sure will appreciate his services just like me.

Omg saw dr Russo yesterday for the first time for wrist pain. He was rude, abrupt, distracted, unhelpful, hurried, and didn’t listen to a word I said. I would tell him something then he would ask the same question 30 seconds later. He behaved as if I was bothering him rather than a client concerned about the functioning and pain if my wrist. I will never go back and will find someone else for sure. I’ve never been treated so callously by anyone. Thank goodness his staff was wonderful or I may have left in tears
