I had a torn achilles tendon and was seen by Dr. Barker. He explained that he could treat it in two ways, one with surgery and one without. After deciding I would like surgery, he was able to quickly schedule my surgery and everything went really well. I was pleased with his level of professionalism and support as I went through this experience. I have since taken my family members to his office and have recommended him to friends. I highly recommend him and his office staff.

Dr. Barker has treated me for two issues, once from an injury and once from a chronic condition. Great to work with, made me feel involved in my treatment decisions and gave me a clear understanding of each scenario. I highly recommend him.

I had a pretty severe ankle fracture the Monday before Christmas and Dr Barker saw me the next day and was wonderful. I have worked at Providence hospital for many years and knew what a great doctor and surgeon he is but to experience that first hand is amazing. My surgery was the Thursday after my fracture and things are going really well. Dr Barker explains everything before it happened and was more than willing to answer all my questions (and as a nurse I had a lot) as well as all my husband.

Dr. Barker has performed two foot surgeries for me with outstanding results. He explained issues that may arise, monitored my recovery, and answered all of my questions. Friendly, professional. He will be chosen to do my next procedure.

I have seen Dr. Barker on several occasions for different problems. Each time he has been very honest with what he feels is the problem, and the best way to heal it. Unlike other surgeons, he is not quick to recommend surgery, unless he feels that is best. If surgery is the best option he gets you in right away. He has always helped me get back to my active lifestyle as soon as possible. I have referred several of my family members, and they have all had pleasant experiences as well.

Shots hurt. Especially in the big toe. He made it as painless as possible by being gentle and talkin me through if. He is amazing and I will refer him too my friends and family. Love him!

I saw Dr Barker regarding knee pain. He was very helpful and encouraged physical therapy as surgery seemed too aggressive for treatment. PT helped a ton.
