I am recovering from a double hernia surgery with Dr Drosdeck. I found him to be professional and attentive, as well as his staff in office, and especially the hospital (Providence) team. I would recommend him to anyone requiring this surgery.

Dr. Drosdeck took the time to explain in detail what my condition was and what treatment options were available. He also discovered another issue unrelated to my diagnosis and organized a follow up with other specialists for treatment. Surgery utilized the latest minimally invasive technology and was very successful.

I first saw dr. Drosdeck end of December 2020 after a visit to the ER for gallbladder pain. He was thorough, and answered all of my questions, even ones that were probably silly. I decided to delay my surgery until March 2021 for personal reasons and he was supportive and understanding and was willing to work me in if I took a turn for the worse. This guy should not be practicing medicine. He followed my care in the hospital, and was uncaring, dismissed my concerns of complications after surgery, told me my pain was because of "anxiety" and that I just needed to suck it up and deal with it. He refused to hear why I was in pain, as it hurt to take a breath, although the X-ray had shown possible pneumonia because of cloudiness in the lungs, cellulitis formation at the surgical site, a hernia (most likely caused by the surgery). I still am in pain when I breath, and he doesn't care at all.

Physicians are duty bound to provide care to their patients. Dr. Joe Drosdeck is always late for appointments (his concerns take priority), he fails to listen, acerbic bedside manner, and a total lack of follow-up. These traits amount to a lack of integrity and unethical behavior.
