I have been seeing DR Karen Myren for a couple years now, and absolutely love her! She spends a long time with me, and I suspect her other patients as well. It sometimes can take awhile to get called in from waiting, but when I see how much time she takes with me, it doesn't annoy me to think she is doing the same for patients before me. She always answers my questions very thoroughly, and respects my input as well. She is kind, has a delightful bedside manner, and is thorough. She cares for my many medical issues, including breast cancer treatment and managing the many symptoms that brings me from endocrine suppression therapy. She has never dismissed a complaint, and always treats me with the utmost respect. She also has a nice sense of humor. I am very unhappy with WWMG's patient portal. All of my past test results vanished. There are no clinical notes from visits. MY-Chart works much better. I am unhappy with a schedule V drug prescribed for post mastectomy nerve pain, being treated like a schedule II drug, not sure this is required by law, and is not done somewhere else, where I am going to transfer my pain management rather than be treated like a criminal. This is not DR. Myren's fault, however.

She’s abrupt runs late makes me feel like I should not have come in. The last time she snapped at me when i did not knowing what a medication was an asked her what is was for. She’s has gotten me to the point that I dread going to the doctor so much that I use OTC medication‘s even though I could get my prescriptions renewed.

Dr. Myren is my family's doctor. She is thorough and has a sunny disposition. I highly recommend her if you are able to get in when she is accepting new patients.
