Mark C. Valentine's Online Review Report Card

Just had my first appointment with Dr. Valentine yesterday for treatment of multiple skin lesions. I have had treatment at my regular clinic for months now, and already feel like Dr. Valentine has me on a better path to address this issue. He and the staff took their time, listened to my concerns, and answered all my questions. Very kind and caring. I was able to get an appointment very quickly, and have a follow up in a few weeks. A positive experience, and I thank them for that!

From the time I could walk I had eczema. My condition was so severe that it infected my blood. I use to cry myself to sleep because I looked like a reptile. My skin was basically one huge scar it was in my hair all over my body caused weight-loss and the smell was unbearable at times.after years of going to different dermatologist and only getting worse my mom found Dr. Mark Valentine. he treated my condition with care and full attention. I am 42years old healthy and beautiful and I owe it all to Dr. Valentine. I will never be able to thank him enough. Amazing would be an understatement.

Dr. Valentine has been my Dermatologist for about 30 years! He is always on top of things and is an expert's expert on all things dermatology! He is always relaxed, listens well, and has literally changed my life and health for the best!

Dr. Valentine has been my trusted dermatologist for many years because of my personal risk of developing skin cancer while being immunosupressed secondary to a kidney transplant I received decades ago. He is the most caring, very well experienced dermatologist I can think of. I developed an aggressive skin cancer on one of my legs a few years back. Dr. Valentine detected it at a very early stage, was able to remove it surgically and cured me from this cancer before it did spread to other areas of my body. I recommend Dr. Valentine to anybody who needs a competent, unhurried skin specialist for any cosmetic or serious skin problem. Christian J. Schmitt, M.D.

It's be awhile since I was in to see Dr. Valentine - but I knew he was merging with North Sound Dermatology. While I think Dr. Valentine is great - I am not a fan of having the nurse in the room with us. Geez - maybe it was just me:( . . . but she sits there taking notes (yeah, I know, a 'scribe' -oh brother . . ) - but I was so uncomfortable! I had a couple questions that I just wasn't going to bring up with him while she was there. I'm probably the only one who doesn't like it - but I really, truly think it's a bad idea (and I bet it wasn't Dr. Valentine's idea). Maybe they could give the patients the choice of whether or not you care if the nurse stays or goes. Truly not happy about it.

This office is NOT closed. I called today. Dr. Valentine has just merged with North Sound Dermatology which is in the same building. The phone number is still good and you can still see Dr. Valentine. I've been seeing him for a few years and he is great.

They require a credit card or FSA card on file. If your insurance doesn't pay the full amount of the bill, they automatically will take the remaining amount out of one of those cards. Just FYI

I was trying to set up an appointment with this clinic and I had to call every single day to see if they had received a fax from a previous clinic I had been to. The woman who answered the phone seemed very annoyed of me so I eventually quit trying to make an appointment with them after not hearing any updates from them for over a week. I got right in somewhere else without having to call repeatedly.

Dr Valentine and his staff are the absolute best. They are professional and at the same time very caring. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing a dermatologist.
