MIchael Chun's Online Review Report Card

I had a referred appointment to Doctor Michael Chun of the Everett Clinic back in early 2021. I have suffered from chronic headaches for decades and a physician I had previously seen had attempted to mitigate these chronic headaches with strong steroid injections which unfortunately only made the head pain worse. I explained this to Doctor Chun and he responded by inferring that the real reason I was there was to engineer a malpractice suit against the physician that had conducted the steroid injections. Since I have never initiated a malpractice suit against anyone I was stunned by his inference and later contacted Bill Bettermann, the Chief Operating Officer of the Everett Clinic but never received a response so I filed a formal complaint with my health insurance provider. Lastly, I had hand delivered some personal medical documentation to Doctor Chun’s staff prior to the appointment and they proceeded to lose or misplace this documentation no fewer than 3 times.

I finally got in to see Dr. Chun after waiting 6 weeks. I was over a year in pain. What a waste of time and my hard earmed money. He was useless in helping with my pain. I left in tears with only another 3 week wait, to do nerve testing. Would not recommend if you are in pain.

I have been seeing Dr Chun for the last 17 years, he is by far the best doctor I have ever seen. He is both professional and personable. He will answer all your questions, and takes the time to explain everything to your satisfaction, he truly wants his patience to understand what's going on. Outstanding doctor and human being.

I was very disappointed with this doctor. He only checked to see if my symptoms were related to MS and once he did a physical test he said, you don’t have MS you have carpal tunnel... what!! Ended up going somewhere else where they diagnosed me with Small fiber neuropathy and autonomic neuropathy. It’s sad to see how high of rating he has at the Everett clinic website. I almost had carpal tunnel surgery and it turns out it was something else. Always get a second opinion.

Dr Chun and his assistant David are both very bright, very engaging, professional, knowledgeable and listen to their patients and families. They are interested in helping to make their patient's lives better. Dr. Chun is a devoted physician and his professionalism and patient care are both superb. He is unusual in today's world. We highly recommend him. He is one of the best physicians we have worked with.

Dr Chun was not only professional, but personable. He honored concerns and questions with time and care. He volunteered to coordinate care treatment with another doctor as well.

Really like this Doctor. Treats his patients with respect and like a friend or family. Great interaction with his patients.

After a long painful fight with migraines and chronic pain after a horrible accident I thought he could help. Not only didn't he help, he didn't listen or care. He simply wanted to add another script to my collection and seemed offensive when I questioned. He actually said "I don't want you to think I'm just a pill pusher." I chose him because he "would treat me like family" as stated in his profile. As I left in tears with no answers and embarrassed I seriously don't believe that.

I have seen Dr. Chun for many years, my mom has also seen him. He treats his patients wonderful, you don't feel rushed, and listens to you. I have nothing but good things to say about him. My only negative is scheduling an appointment can be difficult.
