My parents took me to this guy when I was a kid. I requested the records, and the progress notes are literally just parroting whatever my parents told him as fact. His assessments of my life had nothing to do with anything I told him, it was just whatever my parents said taken without question. Now, in my case this isn't that big of a deal, since my home life wasn't that bad, but imagine if a kid growing up around abusive adults came in. He would have simply written down that everything is fine because that's what the parents said. I would strongly encourage everyone not to visit this guy, even if this particular situation does not apply to you, because someone who is this careless in one area is likely careless in other areas as well. Let's say you're a parent thinking of taking your kid to him. Just because you're an honest parent doesn't mean you have nothing to worry about. You still want the guy to listen to your kid and see what's wrong, right?
